Very nice looking knife/machete. Blade is short to be an actual machete. Does not come super sharp but can put an edge on it easy enough. Impressed with the blade thickness. DC53 steel is a nice blend of durability with edge retention. I would highly recommend for the price point. I have not used for chopping. It’s very pretty so it’s a safe queen now but it would go in my bug out bag if needed.

Love this knife, hate the slogan

this knife has a very thick spine and tang it.came fairly sharp. passed the paper test.the factory polish was well done can almost read letter in its reflectioncame with a very nice kydex sheath with carbon fiber outer plates and no rattle.i think this would be best carried scout or pack

This machete is thick, heavy, sharp and comes in a really nice case. If I remove my big buckle, I can slide the case onto my belt and wear it on my hip. That makes me look really cool.I like to have a knife when I go hunting and trail walking. I especially like to have something that, should I see a rattler, I can protect myself.This machete can be used in hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping.The handle feels good in the hand and the overall length of the knife isn't too long - just right for small jobs. The materials all feel high quality.I feel good knowing this machete is by my side.

I'm not sure what defines a Kukri Machete, but I definitely know it cuts like a demon. This HX OUTDOORS machete is sharp! It has about an 8 inch steel blade and measures a total of 14 inches. I've been using it to cut thick-stalked weeds, as well as small saplings and mesquite and it works like a charm.This machete feels very high quality. It has a full tang construction which is one sign of a well-made knife. While heavy, it is nicely balanced and comfortable in hand; one might say exceptionally ergonomic. It feels good to swing it.The HX OUTDOORS machete comes with a nice sheath. The sheath seems really heavy duty and durable and does a great job in protecting the machete.I am quite happy with my new machete. It does what I need it to do and it does it very well indeed.
