Works, won't blow your socks off, but works.
Selections are a bit limited, but its a nice easy way to mix 5v aRGB lighting in to one controller. Plug to a 3-pin, connect to SATA, chain the others to what's plugged in to it - and you're good to go. (Again, not the highest offerings of clean speed and modes - but it gets the job done for not much wallet heartache).

Decent ARGB box, is NOT a fan controller, the 2-pin attachment is nice
This box is pretty standard - it has a number of modes, accessible in order by pressing a "main" button, which in this case can be the one on the box itself or one triggered via the 2 pin "reset" attachment, meant to use your PC case "reset" button as an RGB advance button instead. I am a huge PC nerd and I have probably used the reset button to actually reset like 7 times total, so not a huge loss there. If you've been at it for awhile with PC RBG, this should be bog standard stuff, as it is the standard installed in most cases, and it is compatible with the 5v 3-pin ARGB specific to many motherboards. This one uses SATA power, only the 5v so techy nerds like myself can make this work many different ways. For the not as techy nerds, its plug/play with any PC case from the last 20 years. -1 for somewhat misleading verbiage in the listing making it ambiguous as to whether or not it is a fan controller, which it is definitely not. While it will absolutely run the RGB in your fans, it will not distribute power or change the speed of fans, which is, I think, what most expect when they see "fan controller" on a product.

Very compact, easy to use
This controller makes it simple to add ARGB to your PC build, without needing any software or motherboard support. It didn't come with any instructions, but the device is straightforward enough: The three buttons let you select from 23 animated modes with 5 speed options, or 7 static colors in 4 levels of dimming. You can also turn off the lights by long-pressing the S button. The controller provides a header for an optional external switch, to which you can connect your case's Reset or LED button, if present. Pressing that switch cycles through the 23 animations running at medium speed, or deactivates the lights with a long-press. It's more convenient than opening your case to use the controller’s onboard buttons, but I wish that it didn't override the current speed setting. The unit comes with an adhesive pad for mounting and remembers its settings across power cycles. Overall, it's a decent ARGB controller for the price, though it would’ve been nice to have more variety in the modes (many are just color variations of the same chase animation). Four stars.

Currently connected to my CPU Cooler fan. While it does light up, using the controls did nothing to change the colour mode, and it’s stuck on blue. Not sure if it’s a compatibility thing but didn’t work for me.

Very basic selection. But for the price it's perfect. Connect it to your reset switch on your case and single press through the colors and effects. PRESS AND HOLD RESET SWITCH TURN OFF RGB!!!! Awesome feature.
