KIWI design Comfortable Controller Grips Compatible with Meta Quest 3S/Quest 3 Accessories Wrist Strap with Battery Opening

I got these controller grips for my Quest 3, and they’ve made a huge difference in comfort and grip. The silicone material feels great, way better than the standard controllers, and the knuckle straps keep them secure, so I don’t have to grip as tightly during gameplay. Installation was quick and easy, and they don’t interfere with tracking at all. Also you don’t have to remove them to change the batteries, which is super convenient. The little battery compartment door makes swapping them out really simple. Overall, these grips are a great upgrade. They make the controllers way more comfortable, and the extra security from the straps means I don’t have to worry about dropping them mid-game. If you play VR a lot, definitely worth picking up.

These fit perfectly on a Quest 3. They feel really well made. I was worried the straps might feel weak but they do not. They help stop the controllers feeling slippy with sweaty hands and the straps are perfect for a secure hold. The design has battery doors that allow easy battery swaps which is great. The doors feel like they secure well. They were easy to get on and I think they will last a long time.

Great grip, tough, great value for money. They fit very well and are comfortable to wear. The battery cover works wonders as makes it easy to swap out batteries.

I was a little unsure regarding these controllers but decided to give them a try, I am glad that we did. Please see the photos that I have included. They arrived well boxed, with detailed instructions on how to fit. The yare supplied with several spare battery tags, Ill come to that part later. Firstly you need to remove the original battery compartment and I also removed the corded attachments, I suppose you could leave those if you wishes. As noted in the photos each part is labelled with a "R" or "L" for Right and Left. Fitting of the replacement battery doors / covers is easy, they click into place. Carefully sliding each of the units into the main cover grip, see photo, is simple enough. The top lip of each cover sliding over the top of the controller. It makes sense once doing it. Back to the battery cover and tags.... This is, potentially, the only weak point, and that isn't a major concern. The tags are attached towards the base of each battery. That means when you pull on the tag the force of the pull will directly be placed at the point of the greatest resistance where the battery is located. If the tag had been placed in the middle, that might have been more helpful, it cannot be moved. I tired, to see what it is like, how easy it is to remove a battery. It is not easy if you only rely on the tags. BUT if you open the battery door, pull on the tag, whilst held turned over and then shake the battery out.....It eventually comes away. I am reducing the overall review by one star as I do feel that that process could have been made a little easier, but recognise half the issue is how Meta designed the replacement of the battery in the first place. Just take your time when needing to replace the battery. Overall these are very much recommended. The comfort and grip is superb, the controllers feel very comfortable and easy to hold when in use. The straps are easy to adjust A very minor quibble, the "Meta" keys are a little more difficult to get to due to how these controllers are now being held in your hand compared to using them with no hand straps. Very minor issue tho. No issues at all with sensor tracking or responsiveness. So, as noted, very much recommended, just accept that battery changing is never going to be straight forward. But not too difficult either. Two years advertised warranty also. I will update this review over time if there are wear issues associated with their use. I do hope this has helped you.

Perfect for any sort of fighting game or for when you want to relax your grip never hand an issue and th battery compartment is a great design. Feel great and work great no complaints

Really easy to fit & straightforward, has made the more active games for quest a lot more enjoyable (e.g. les mills bodycombat) as controllers are fitted to the hand. For these games i'd say these grips are a must. Material is of a high quality, the controllers feel really good in the hand and havent had any tracking issues Dont fit these too tightly, best advice would be to hold the controller firmly, then secure the velcro after and you'll find a firm grip on your hand I don't use a charging stand, just keep mine in a case so not too worried about charging stand compatibility but you might want to check this before purchase.

These grips were a must I am loving my quest 3, but really needed more grip on the controllers. Purchased a few cheaper versions of the official meta straps - that are just basically battery cover replacements with straps. But none of them fit perfectly. Really frustrating and had to return them. Looked into silicone covers as sometimes when I hold the controller, I can feel the battery cover move. These Kiwi covers solve that and I comfy and really increase the grip. Very impressed with the quality, thoroughly recommend.

Dont get: They fit on great and work good, BUT do not account for the invisible controler tracking lights, thus your tracking will be NOTISABLY degraded (loosing tracking on your controllers). Looked it up to see if it was just me, but others also have this issue and had to cut parts of it off where the lights are for it to work ok again. You may not notice at first, as when tracing disconnects you can wave it in front of you to connect it back, but if you use vr often its VERY frequent and not normal at all. I'd Instead recommend getting knuckle straps that use the battery door and aren't a sleeve that cover any part of the black top disk of your controllers (had in the past for years but broke hence i got this).

I love these covers for the Quest 3 controllers. I had the same ones for my Quest 2 and IMO they are essential for comfortable usage. The custom battery opening makes changing batteries very accessible and convenient, without having to remove the covers. The material feels high-quality and they sit great in the hand. I combine them with a Kiwi Design Elite Headstrap for maximum comfort.

Kiwi is well known in the VR world for making quality products. These are great and add a lot of comfort and grip to the Q3 controllers. I’m a long time VR player and so I ordered these at the same time I ordered my Q3 because I consider controller grips to be an essential upgrade. Once you try them, there’s no going back to “naked controllers”. The only minor complaint (not even worth removing a start for though) is that the knuckle strap would be more comfortable if it were also made of the same grippy silicone as the grips themselves. It’s not that the existing one isn’t comfy. It’s just that the previous grips I had for my Q2 controllers had the knuckle straps much wider and also made of silicone and they felt a little bit better. This is just a small little nitpicky thing for the makers to consider in their design next time around.

I love these. They are great for grip, and the straps are the best feature. KIWI never disappoints.

Die Griffe bieten nicht nur einen deutlich besseren Halt als die originalen Handschlaufen, sondern ermöglichen es auch, die Hand während des Spielens zu öffnen, um die Handinnenfläche zu "lüften" – das macht längere Sessions viel angenehmer. Der praktische Akkudeckel macht das Wechseln der Batterien einfach und komfortabel. Die Bänder waren anfangs etwas steif, aber nach kurzer Nutzung wurden sie schnell bequemer. Insgesamt wirken die Griffe hochwertig und langlebig – eine deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber anderen, günstigeren Alternativen, die bei mir schnell kaputtgingen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist der Preis: 23,99 Euro (im November 2024) sind im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Produkten zu hoch. Fazit: Hochwertige Griffe, die Komfort, Schutz, Flexibilität und Funktionalität bieten – trotz des höheren Preises eine lohnende Investition.
