I struggle to think of a single disappointment I have with this product. Perhaps the instruction manual could be better, although it's adequate if you're reasonably savvy. The earbuds are a little bulky (so not suitable for kids), and you would probably struggle to sleep with them in. That's about it for potential downsides.As for everything else... Battery life is nice, and the sleek charging case extends it further. They're comfortable and have 5 sizes of earpieces included. They connect quickly and seamlessly. The sound quality is very good (bass response is excellent).The noise cancellation, in particular, is extremely impressive. I would definitely recommend these if you take long coach or train journeys.Overall these feel like a quality product. I'm very happy with them.

Writing this based on first impressionsI bought these to replace my previous earpods which accidentally got drowned in the washing machine and having used ankers products before and the good price i decided on these as a replacement as my earpods go everywhere with me.The sound is simply incredible on these the bass is incredible, im pleased with the ease of setup - when i opened the case for the first time my phone detected it immediately and even prompted me to download the soundcore app which i did. The app is easy to use and even helped me make a custom listening profile. The controls are highly customisable which is great for me. Definitely a huge upgrade on my last pair and for cheaper too

Reasonable sound, good shape, fits well in the ear, they stay put even when out for a run or in the gym unlike others I’ve had. Good selection of ear pieces but those they arrived with is a good fit for me. Connected quickly to iPad, Smart phone and TV’s., etc. Very good battery life. So, all good, BUT synchronicity with videos, movies etc., is pretty awful to the point of being unusable. Apart from that they are pretty decent for the price and would have been perfect for me (fit, sound etc) and I like them so I’ll keep them.Update 3 weeks later …..I have the entire collections of Sinatra’ s Columbia and Capitol recordings and have been listening to them with the Anker Earbuds. Considering that these are older recordings the clarity of the sound is incredible. Similarly with Aretha Franklin CD’s., and others in my collection so I’m very glad I didn’t return them. Of course there are better products out there if you want to part with mega-bucks but for the price and reproduction quality the Anker Buds are outstanding.Now this amended review has nothing to do with the refund offered by AnkerDirect or their excellent Customer Service response to my earlier review as I intended to keep the Buds anyway regardless of the synchronicity problem, which I wasn’t really bothered about. An extra star for customer satisfaction.

Everything on these headphones work really well. I feel for the money these are worth twice the price of entry level earbuds if you want something that sounds better with more functionality.I stepped up from budget wireless earbuds costing around £25 up to these more mid range models.The Good:The sound quality is clear, bright and punchy and noticeably better than budget earbuds. The bass is deeper, the highs are more crisp and the mid range warmer.The app is pretty awesome, as it gives you features such as to test the earbud tip seal within your ear, and as they provide you with 5 sizes of earbud tip, (XS, S, M, L, XL) you can find the best fit for you. You can also pick your age and tailor the frequency response to suit the limit of your ears in the app. If you've looked after your ears you might not find these tests challenging to hear, so set your age appropriately to test the limits of your hearing, and not the other way around and that's within the Ai EQ which works pretty well where you interact with the app to decide what sounds nicest from a pre recorded song on the app that gives pretty nice results. You can also force the earbud to emit a locating sound through the app to find them which is useful, but only if they're wirelessly connected first, which is limiting.The ANC works pretty well, especially against wind noise. There's also 2 ambient noise settings that sound like you're by the sea that's nice and calming.They also hold in the ear really well if you're exercising. My old earbuds were the "bean shaped" style and these often came loose whilst doing press ups or sit ups, wheras this "stemmed" earbud shape hold in really well, its a drastic improvement that improves sound quality being in my ears comfortably.The holder for the earbuds doubles as a really good phone stand surprisingly. The base is heavy enough to provide support yet its not too heavy or large or uncomfortable in the pocket.Cons:They're kind big in size so they look a little goofy hanging out your ear. I went for the lilac purple models because I wanted something easy to see in low light, and yeah they're obvious to see with short hair not covering my ears from a distance. They're a little bulky in size, but that doesn't effect their performance in anyway. If you're bothered by this, buy a dark colour.The app is so feature filled and well thought out, I wish they had included a feature to locate "lost" buds, as the locating tone for the ear buds is useful, but only works if the buds are already connected, If they've fallen out the case whilst off obviously, you can't find the buds using the app as it won't connect to them.
