Nails cost $50 minimum and while we want to give our nail techs the $$$ I've never found a nail tech or salon in my area that did what I wanted or didn't completely destroy my nails. I typically do regular polish, but I work on a farm and my nails grow fast, which is a blessing and problem, because I turn around and suddenly one will break because of excessive washing, trying to catch a sheep, etc.A nurse at my dr office had stunning nails and she said she does them herself just using random gel kits from Amazon. I was amazed. I couldn't stop thinking about it.One thing I got at my last salon was a "dip no chip" nail. They did a thin dip base and then gel top coat. I had broken two nails last week, so I ordered a dip repair kit and did that as a base yesterday on all my nails(aotek repair kit, no activator to keep rougher surface, just buffed a bit). I need a lot of practice, as these aren't shaped great and a little chunky, but today this gel kit came and wow.Easy, cured beautifully. I'm pretty steady with painting nails, as I've done my own with regular polish for about 15 yrs, so you may not want to start with something this permanent if you need practice in that dept. The base coat is sticky, which I couldn't remember was normal, but I just went with it. Three thin coats of color and cured 60sec between. Top coat I cured for 90sec. Beautiful, hard. Gorgeous. I will try to remember to update on how removal goes and wear lasts. I don't think I'm going to try and make my manis last more than 10-14 days, because of my fast nail growth and why not try more colors more often when I did the gel portion on this many in 15 minutes? Opposed to 30-50 for regular polish?!One singular con is that I did do thin coats of color and some nails are still a little more transparent than others. Not sure if the opacity is a little weak on this color (the salmon pink/coral in the classic kit), or I went too thin on these coats.I literally got this on sale for $24.99. It comes with everything you could need. And the finished nails look BETTER and less bulky than the first time I did dip nails at a salon. 5/5stars

I am really pleased with this kit! I am a TOTAL beginner, I’ve never used gel polish at home before. I love that this kit comes with such a wide range of colors to play around with. They are very small bottles, but as a newbie I just wanted to be able to play a bit and if I decide to keep building my skills, I’ll invest in specific colors.I highly recommend watching some TikToks or YouTube videos about gel manicures because there is a bit of a learning curve in how to prep your nails for long wear, and how to cleanly apply the polish. This helped me so much and I feel like I got great results even for my very first time!The kit itself comes with base coat, color, top coat, a light that seems higher quality than a lot of kits I looked at. It also includes some extras like glitter and foil, plus files, cuticle pusher, cuticle oil. The value feels really good for what all is included!My pedi is only 24 hours old so I will update this review based on how long it lasts, but at this point I highly recommend this for other beginners who want to try out gel manis at home before investing a ton!

So far this is a really great product. The bottles of polish are very small but it comes with a ton of great colors. The polish applies easily. The base coat remains tacky but once a layer of color is applied it sets prefectly. I applied the base coat, two coats of color, and the topcoat, and it looks great! I read other reviews that the polish does not last very long, I'm only on the second day after application and have had no issues. I'll try and remember to update regarding longevity.Update....The polish does not hold up well. Lasts about one week tops. It lasts longer than regular polish so for the price not a bad purchase.

This Jelly Gel Nail Polish Set has some nice shades, but overall, I found it a bit underwhelming. The colors are lovely in the bottles, but they’re much sheerer than expected and require several coats to build up. Even after layering, some shades don’t achieve the opacity I hoped for. The polish itself applies smoothly and lasts reasonably well, but the sheer finish may not be for everyone. It’s a decent choice for a subtle, natural look, but if you prefer bold color, this might not be the best option.

These are beautiful colors they hold up well without chipping. The price was incredible. The only semi drawback is that with the array of colors, several are extremely close in tone. But with that said, I loved all the colors so I wasn't upset about having colors that were almost duplicates.

Excellent and durable product with great colors.Understand a couple of things: these aren't going to air dry. You must use UV light included or direct sunlight to harden. You'll also need to work fast in a lower light situation to ensure smoothness. As soon as the polish is in contact with UV its going to start solidifying and you cant touch it at that point. Also note that if you apply it too Thickly the polish under the surface (not in contact with UV rays) may not dry.My only complaint with this set is that some colors don't harden as well as others
