This A5-sized scratchpad might just be the answer to unleash your child's inner artist. We recently brought it home for my 5yr-old, and it quickly became a favorite entertainment for both its ease of use and affordability.The scratchpad comes packed with creative potential. Four different stencils offer a variety of shapes, from familiar animals and simple objects to fun geometric patterns - a zig-zag being the most favourite for us apparently :-). This diversity kept my child entertained for a good hour, allowing them to create a whole menagerie of creatures, experiment with combining shapes and explore different design possibilities.Visually, the black scratch paper with rainbow colourful background is a real treat. It provides a vibrant canvas for the scratched designs, making each creation pop with colour. My child loved using the stencils and in conjunction with the paper, and easily wipes off any black particles/coating... on the floor... so vacuuming it after our artistic sessions is now part of the routine. It's important to note that while the act of scratching is inherently mess-free, it does create a slight powdery mess as the black coating is revealed. This wasn't a major issue for us, as a quick vacuum or a wipe with a damp cloth easily cleaned up any stray particles.Overall, considering the affordability, variety of features, and the entertainment it provided, this scratchpad offers excellent value for money. My child thoroughly enjoyed exploring their creativity, and I would highly recommend it to other parents looking for an engaging and mess-manageable activity for their kids. It's a fun and affordable way to spark their imagination and nurture their artistic side, with just a bit of post-creation cleanup required.

My 6 year old and 4 year old loved using these at the dinner table on holiday. Small and light weight and lots of enjoyment.

Kids found it easy to use the scratch pens to create their pictures, older daughter preferred freehand drawing to using the stencils, but stencils a nice addition for smaller kids. Great to have a few spare scratchers in case any get lost too. Product exactly as described

I initially purchased this for my nephew only but my sister loved it so got her one too and they were clued on this for literally hours. The outcomes really cool and theres variety of colours.

I have bought it for myself to create titles and headings for my scrapbook. It's really easy to use and drawings and writing comes out so pretty!
