You NEED this silk bonnet in your life!!
Okay besties, let’s talk about this life-changing silk bonnet I’ve been obsessed with lately. First off, it’s not that fake satin you see everywhere. This is 100% real silk, and omg, the difference is unreal. My hair has been thriving since I started sleeping in it no more crazy frizz, no breakage, and my curls actually look better in the morning than when I went to bed. Seriously. The design is next level too. It’s double-layered, super comfy, and the way it ties with the Wonder Loop? Genius. It stays put all night without squeezing your head or leaving those annoying lines. Plus, it’s reversible with the cutest colors, so you basically get two looks in one.And listen… it’s not just for curly girls either. It’s perfect for straight hair, braids, extensions literally everyone needs one. It even comes in the prettiest gift box, so if you’re looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift (or just a “treat yourself” moment), this is IT.Trust me, this silk bonnet is a total game-changer. Your hair will thank you. 10/10 recommend!!

Keeps hair silky smooth
It took me a little while to figure out how to put it on correctly but once I googled it I will never sleep without it again. I’ve always used silk/satin pillowcases to try and keep my fine hair from being frizzy and breaking. This bonnet though, it keeps your hair from being frizzy, breaking off, and from looking a hot mess when you wake up. I 100%, 10/10 recommend!! Will be repurchasing so I have one to wear when this one is dirty and I also plan on purchasing one for my mother.

I love it
Takes a little bit to get used to and to figure out a way that works best for you. But once you have it works perfectly. Before I or my spouse was rolling onto my hair during the night and now my hair is more contained. I have wavy/curly hair down to the middle of my back and everything fits.

My first bonnet experience
As I don't have anything to compare to, I will list my grievances first. I wear my hair straight or curly. Either way, despite pushing the front pieces of hair away from my face before putting the bonnet on, I wake up in the morning with the front part of my hair smashed under the bonnet as it moves while I am sleeping. I do appreciate that my hair is less frizzy in the morning when I take this off, but when my hair is straight, it's no longer straight- it gets bent and fold creases from however I am laying on it with the bonnet on. Pre bonnet I would just flip my hair from under my neck so I wasn't laying on it at night, and I would wake up with my style looking the same. So I will probably stop wearing it when I straighten my hair. My head is super sensitive, so I can't put a scrunchie in my hair or bobby pins overnight. Maybe this is what others do. Again, I am inexperienced in this. I don't think it's worth the money for what I'm seeing so far, and I feel I have been duped by social media.

False Advertising: NOT FOR ALL HAIR TYPES
I have been trying extremely hard lately to buy organic fiber products in an attempt to reduce microplastics. So I searched and found a couple 100% mulberry silk bonnets. MUCH more expensive than the $12 plastic ones, but I figured I'd buy one and never need another for a very long time so it was worth it. I wanted one mainly because I have been doing scalp oil treatments for some spots of eczema on my head and I wanted something to wear so my oily hair wouldn't be getting everywhere. (I have very long hair)I settled on this one. The thing is there are several things in their advertising that is simply false.1. They show an elastic band and claim its "adjustable". Um, no it isn't. It's STRETCHY. There isn't a clasp or anything to "adjust". And that elastic? It forms a hole when you tighten the bonnet around your head. A hole that my hair just falls out of. I have to lean over kinda upside down and grab the elastic and tuck it under the ribbons in the back.2. It claims its non slip. This is laughable since silk is the slipperiest material in existence. It slips everywhere! Yes the wonder loop keeps the tie in place, but the ribbons literally slip and loosen AS I'M TYING IT! You just can't tie this thing tight because the fabric immediately slips and loosens. I had to tie a double not on the wonder loop THEN tie a cute little bow on top. That kept the knot from slipping loose, but it didn't keep the thing from slipping off my head. Which leads to point number three...3. It claims its for ALL hair types. Well, I have very long, very fine, VERY straight hair. A lot of it. My hair length is mid thigh, past my butt and I have a LOT of hair on my head. For a while I was doing an under shave to lessen the amount and no one ever noticed because that's how much hair I have. I have tied it up all nice and tied in a variety of ways every night since I got it. (Its been about 2 weeks now) and it slips off EVERY TIME. I am not a real aggressive sleeper. I roll over 2-4 times a night and this thing always slips right off. I can't even wear it around the house during the day unless my hair is wet. If my hair is dry it won't stay on. I think if you had a lot of bushy curls this would probably stay on. My hair is just basically as slippery as the silk. They both slide right off each other. Now it IS high quality, very cute, (I got several compliments) and its organic, but I don't agree with their advertising. Those 3 points are quite simply false. Instead of saying its adjustable it should be called one size fits all and instead of calling it no-slip they should call it a tie anchor or something, and it certainly is NOT for all hair types. If you have straight fine hair DON'T BUY! This is far too expensive to waste your money on! I am going to have to make do with it since it does stay on during the day with my oil treatments, but sadly, I can't do an overnight treatment as this just doesn't work. Nor can I just use it casually after I get home from work to keep my hair up and out of the way while I clean or cook dinner. At least not without retying it multiple times.Sorry, but if you don't have a mass amount of poofy hair, then this bonnet simply won't work.
