This little jar sealer is a game-changer! I was initially skeptical after reading a few negative reviews about it not working, and my first attempt did fail. But I quickly realized I was using an old jar with its original lid.Once I switched to the proper jars and lids, it was smooth sailing. I had just made a big batch of fresh-squeezed juices and filled 12 Ball Mason jars. To my surprise, the sealer worked flawlessly right out of the box, even though I'd forgotten to charge it! It had approximately 22% battery and sealed all 12 jars in no time. For sealing mason jars it works easily & perfectly. I’m storing my rice, flour, sugar, etc in airtight mason jars & this is so easy to use. Good value.

This vacuum seals mason jars perfectly. Buy the Ball lids, though, or you will have failures. I use and reuse the Ball lids daily, as I use jars for fresh-cut onions, cheeses, crackers, trail mix, salsa, dried fruit, etc. It all stays much fresher than using plastic containers.

Poor instructions. Biggest take away is to make sure to only have the flat lid on your jar, either size, before putting vacuum sealer on to process. Add ring after jar is sealed!Seems to work well for produce and dry goods. Trying on a cut apple to see how long it stays fresh. May try jam to see if it will seal and keep jam good.Works well now!

Never had one, first time user. Now I vacuum pack everything very simple to use. I've used it 30-40 times, still going strong on first charge.

It’s a satisfying small kitchen utility that you’ll soon wonder how you did without for so long. No more bugs in your flour (even once is one too many). I use it for produce in the refrigerator and it doubles or triples the lifespan of it. I picked up 1 for each of my kids and for my sister who lives in Florida where humidity abounds. It plugs in to any USB port and battery life is good. To assure a good seal, be sure to routinely clean the rim of the jar and lid. The only time my lids didn’t seal well was when some of the contents were on the rim, my bad. I just purchased a 25 pound bag of sugar (for feeding hummingbirds) and the summer humidity will not become a problem! Yay!

I use to drag out the Seal-a-Meal to seal Mason jars for dried beans, flour, etc. It was always kind of a pain! This thing is easy and always handy!! Highly recommend!

Love the auto shut off. Still pulls the lid off wide mouth jars about half of the time. I can usually get the wide mouth lid to stay on after a couple tries and by slowly twisting the device while removing it from the jar. People with less strength in their hands will have issues though. For me it is still worth it for the convenience of a small device vs pulling out my bigger vacuum sealer.
