BBC Children's Books Hey Duggee: The Opposites Badge

This is a lovely book by Hey Duggee. The book is well made and good quality. The illustrations are very nice and the storylines are good. Our 3 year old loves looking through this book. Happy and recommended to others.

Duggee is a firm favourite in our household. We have kids aged from 1 to 9 and they all love Duggee.The Duggee books are a rare example of books which are spin offs from a TV programme and are actually well designed and make sense as books. So many books from kids TV programmes are terrible and are painful to read out loud. The Duggee books usually work really well as books and this one is certainly no exception. It is an excellent, colourful, funny book which will definitely help children to learn and understand the concept of “opposites”.I didn’t really appreciate the joke about 42 year olds being really old, but I think that one is thrown in to make the grown ups chuckle!

Another hit book in our household, this hardback board book is great for those Hey Duggee fans. Follows the TV episode so if your children have seen the episode this book will be familiar.

The book is average hardback size and published by Ladybird so you know it will be a good book. It’s all about opposites, and how to tell what they are. Duggee explains at the very start what it is, when Roly did the opposite that Norrie said to do, and then there are loads of examples throughout the book. Nice and educational so that children can learn all the many opposites that they may encounter during a day.Each page is of strong cardboard, and with nice colourful drawings.
