Works great but early failure; not worth the risk.
Tough to rate. I bought one a few months ago and like it so much (for the positive reasons many previous reviewers have stated) I bought another one. The 2nd one sprung a leak within 3 months of use despite not being abused or subject to any undue strain at all, which of course is totally unacceptable. I was prepared to order another of the same hose, figuring it was a one-off defect, but I've discovered a rash of similar reports here, mostly within the last few months. This leads me to believe there was a bad run off the manufacturing line. Whatever the issue is, I'm not going to risk another purchase. If it wasn't for the leak, I'd give it five stars. BTW, Amazon refunded the purchase price within hours even though it was outside of the 30-day window.

Poorly Constructed - Fell Apart within 2 months
I purchased this hose less than 2 months ago and with normal use (watering twice each week), it now needs to be replaced. The rubber hose inside of the fabric popped away from the connector while I was watering and immediately retracted about 15 feet inside of the fabric outer hose (which remained attached to the connector) and spewed water everywhere through the now-empty fabric. No more retractable hoses for me - they may save space, but clearly are not worth it if you need to replace them every two months.

I
After only three or four uses it started leaking about six inches from the hose end. I reached out to the seller who promised a refund which I have still not seen. You have to be careful with this hose as I've had it snap back and hit the house when turning water on & off to water a tree.

Garbage!
Don't waste your money on this hose, and don't purchase from MoonLa Direct. The hose is sold with a 12 month warranty. Our hose sprung a huge leak at the base where it connects to the faucet, just one month past the warranty date. I wrote MoonLa Direct's Customer Service to ask if they would consider honoring their warranty (at 13 months) and stand behind their product, but they declined. The hose is only meant to last 12 months, if you're lucky. Not worth the money and the seller offers no customer service whatsoever.

Gets the job done, but just OK
I've owned a few generations of expandable hoses. Most of them last quite a while if you treat them well, but eventually they succumb to leaks from the very nature of their flexibility. This hose had good reviews, and I liked the brass fittings, so I gave it a try. Long story short, it does its job well - it attaches and detaches easily, and doesn't knot or coil itself. But there are a few issues I have with this hose:1) For me, this is not a 75-foot hose, it's not even 50 feet. Now I understand that the 75 feet is measured at peak length with strong water pressure. My water pressure is good, but not great, and therefore I struggle to have it meet my needs. I knew this going in, and it's not necessarily the fault of the manufacturer, but it's still disappointing.2) The hose cover is a woven fabric, and although it's advertised as "extra strength", it does snag and fray on things at times. This does make me wonder just how long it will last in the long-run.3) The last product image (with the woman spraying herself with the clearly Photo-shopped image of the hose) on the Amazon posting is just unnecessary and tacky. In the end, this probably a decent hose, but I also think there are a lot of other options for $40.

TERRIBLE HOSE - DONT BUY!!
Horrible hose, less than a year after getting it, the rubber caps near the ends broke and it leaks from both sides. Messaged the seller before my year was over and they still told me my warranty was out of date. That made zero sense. Would recommend going with another seller, this seller is horrible and provides poor quality hoses

Love this hose
Love this hose!! I purchased a 100 ft and a 75 ft. Have had them about 2 months and used every day and they have held up well so far. My husband is handicapped and in a power chair and likes to water the garden and plants on the deck and really gives it a lot of abuse, He is constantly running over it with his chair and getting it tangled up in his wheels so thought this was going to be a short lived experiment. But in spite of the abuse it has received so far - no leaks and still going strong, it does’t kink and is super light weight. Well worth the money. The only weak point so far is the screw that keeps the water cut off lever in place. I have to periodically tighten it and if it ever comes off and I loose the screw it will be a problem so check it occasionally and tighten it.

Good but not perfect
Works pretty much as expected. It would be difficult (maybe not impossible) to stretch this to 75'. I don't try to go past about 50'. It is very convenient to carry around the yard and use in different locations.I reduced the rating by one star because the insulator on the male end (that protects against kinks at the metal ends) was not installed properly and was about a half inch away from the connect - which gave no protection at all.
