Leone Rose Candy Drops Tin

I've been interested in tasting rose flavored candy since I first read about them years ago and like to try something new occasionally. Although some puddings at Indian restaurants offer the same floral notes, I strongly prefer hard candies, and I hate the texture of Turkish delight.This tin offers the perfect example of a hard, rose flavored candy. Each piece is very small, about the size of a plump Skittle, but the longer you suck it the more you get continuous wafts of rose scents. It's very well infused.Also, unlike another brand, there is no unpleasant secondary surprise flavor. I'm not knocking anyone who likes licorice, but it and anise are especially pungent and unpleasant to me, and would hate for my treat to be capped by something so unpalatable at the end. This is pure rose goodness all the way.This type of candy isn't for everyone. Roses have a strong scent and it's unmistakeably floral. It feels almost like a teasing game with my nose. If you want something really sweet or sour this isn't the candy for you. This is also stronger scented than many other types of rose infused products (except lotion).However if you're in the mood for something a little unique and different you can't go wrong here, especially since rose candy is hard to find.

Tastes like rose and a little sweet. Isn’t perfumey. I would say the taste level is a tad bit stronger than/a level above “delicate/subtle” especially the longer you have it in your mouth as the flavor kind of builds. I would like to gift this to fellow rose flavor lovers!

Came in great condition. sits on my desk and shares space with some tea mints. The flavor is very strong - it tastes exactly like how rose perfume smells. It's heavy and cossetting, but very good if thats what your looking for. I use them often - absolutely pricey, but worth it.

Hard to tell if there's actually rose flavoring in it. The most prominent of the "flavors" used in it appears to be violet, not rose. This is the least accurate imitation of rose flavor that I have ever had the misfortune of tasting.

I LOVE the flavor of rose. It’s is a more common flavor outside of the USA, which is tragic. I am hooked on these beautiful candies that taste as wonderful as a rose smells.

The media could not be loaded. I love rose. The scent & the taste. I bought these & love them. Sure they are a bit pricey but it's not easy to find rose candy. Especially hard rose candy. There's like a second where it taste a bit off.. not bad but just like a type of coating.. idk if it's the glucose or what but after that second, it's really good. I got them maybe 2 weeks ago & still have half the can left. I will be buying more ^.^

They had a nice rose flavor all the way through, though I do wish there was a bit more for the price. Overall I am planning on picking this up again in a few months.
