Mig Jimenez Ammo One Shot Primer - Black One Shot - Profesional Primer

I didn't know that you can get varying amounts of pigments in paint.This brand does a great job of supplying a primer coat.I am a fan of AMMO paint from now on.As a result of this discovery, i searched for a high pigment Gloss paintfor wood, and i found it in a specialist paint shop nearby.I'll never use the well known brands again. The difference is amazing

This is now my go-to primer for my miniatures.It's thinner than Vallejo primers but seems to bind better (even if the minis have mould release agents still on them) and doesn't leave an annoying sheen like Vallejo primers do. Because of this it's perfect for the airbrush, but I also apply it on using a brush and the results are similarly excellent.

Excellent in my spray brush at a low pressure. Enabling accuracy and precision, for priming my model kits.

Others swear by it but no matter what I did it clogged my airbrush ( H&S Ultra .4mm nozzle).If you can get it onto the model it works great.

Until this primer paint I'd always used Vallejo paints and to be honest never had any issues. However, I figured it was time to try something else and AMMO seemed to have a good rep.Well, I'm impressed, really. Whilst I am a Vallejo fan and certainly have nothing bad to say about it, this AMMO paint is better.It seems to cover better - more opaque - and has a thicker feel to it when spraying. Which, I should add is done straight from the bottle undiluted.The coating is self levelling and really does impart a great flat surface that adheres well and gives a superb key for the next coatings.Overall, so far this is the best acrylic primer paint I've so far used.
