I've tried a lot of phone tripod mounts, and the Rotus mount is definitely the best so far. The standout feature is the adjustable thumb screw clamp, which is much better than the spring clamps on other models that can be tricky to use and don't always hold your phone securely. With this mount, my phone stays firmly in place, thanks to the soft, angled pads that grip it without requiring me to overtighten and risk damaging my case. The build feels really solid overall. Another great addition is the Bluetooth remote shutter, which adds a lot of value to the package. It paired instantly with my Android phone—no extra drivers or complicated setup needed. The remote makes it so much easier for me to step back and take perfectly framed photos. I also appreciate how easy it is to adjust the angle; I was able to get everything just right with minimal effort. The whole design is straightforward and practical. Given the price, the combination of the secure clamp, high adjustability, and included remote make this mount an outstanding deal. It's definitely the one I'll be recommending in the future.

Brilliant device! Despite no instructions, you just turn ON the bluetooth clicker, then check your iPhone bluetooth setting and there the REMOTE is, click to pair it, and you're off and shooting pics! Thanks for making this EASY!!! Good price, GREAT device! <3

I've seen many negatives reviews about this gadget but I thought to give it a try and I'm really happy with my purchase. I liked it very much that the remote connected really fast and easily with my iPhone7, something I didn't thought it would be so stray forward but it did. The "craftsmanship" of this gadget is not that tough or robust but if you are carefull enough it won't brake so easily and it is very versatile in ways of holding my phone even with a big Otterbox case I have it with. Overall I'm really satisfied with this product and for the price is really OK but would have liked it if it was made of a tougher material so it will better hold against any use/abuse as I like to take it anywhere... but it hasn't broke either, so it's a thumbs up so far...

Solid, versatile and sturdy

It’s plastic; what are expecting for eight bucks? But the threaded inserts are brass, and that’s what matters. I prefer this sort of screw-adjustable phone holder to the spring-loaded ones which are always too weak or too strong. The screw-adjusted type are especially important if you have your phone in a leather or other “delicate” case; the spring-loaded type can damage your case. This holder is plenty big for most phones even in bulky cases. This device consists of two parts, the actual phone holder and then this sort of pivot thing which is, I suppose, necessary to hold your phone in portrait orientation or at some artistic angle. But for most use in landscape mode (especially for teleconferencing) you don’t actually need that. It detaches easily and the clamp has a 1/4x20 socket of its own doe landscape orientation. This cuts down the bulk and the weight. I specifically wanted this thing to use with a small flimsy tripod I have for teleconferencing on-the-go. Using a tripod frees up your hands, saves a lot of fatigue, and gives a more-professional image, so it’s good to carry a small tripod and one of these phone holders when on-the-road. The shutter remote is a nice bonus. It paired with my iPhone easily and works fine. It’s nice when taking pictures on a tripod as you can active the shutter without touching the phone and introducing vibrations. In conclusion, for eight bucks I think this is a dandy tripod adapter for a phone.

Works as it should and appears durable.

The mount is good and works well. The remote is another issue. My iPhone12 does see the remote via Bluetooth, but it will not sync. The description states iOS version xxx or above (which I have), but also lists an iPhone5 or 6. I tried my old iPhone5 and it didn’t work there either. The price was ok, so keeping the mount, and throwing the remote. Just means I have to get a different remote, which I did. Rating a 3, as half the package did not work…

First: The remote worked perfectly with my Google Pixel, paired immediately, and takes pictures if the camera is in picture mode, and starts and stops video if the camera is in video mode. Exactly right. The camera holder itself is perfect, but you need to have a complete tripod, with the screw in plate for the camera in place. I had left this part on my camera, so I had to go get it. Second: The pairing was the easiest thing I have ever done. Went to settings, Bluetooth, pair new device, I turned on the remote, the phone immediately flashed the new device name, I hit "Pair" and it was done. I play historic keyboards and early music, and it turns out that most of them record best and easiest on my Google Pixel 5. The sound is clearest and the video is good. All I needed was a way to hold the camera and I could record music for my teacher, youtube, etc. The EXTRA was the remote. Now I can start the video without getting up. It's perfect. Oh, and by the way, I like this product.
