When I first used it, I had a problem as described by another user, the bottom started to shred the fruit. I stopped it and made sure that the fruit was securely pushed into the bottom spikes. Once I did that it worked perfectly. It is really something to see the peel come off in one piece.

I was intrigued by this kitchen tool. We are constantly peeling something and this makes short order of it. It does go over things that aren’t uniform in size, like potatoes.It works great and in seconds it peels whatever’s on there. We did potatoes and apples. The potatoes took some extra trimming because it couldn’t get clear up to the top of the potato or go into the divet areas, but it still saved a lot of time. It only needs one pass through. It looks like it’s taking a lot of the edible part off but it really doesn’t. Looking at the peel, none of it was what we would have used for the recipes we’re using the peeled potatoes in.The directions are sketchy, which is why I deducted a star, but it’s easy enough to operate so we’ll learn things as we go, to fine tune the process. We eat a lot of sweet potatoes and I’m going to love this peeler for those. When beets are in season I’m going to try them. It could be an essential kitchen utensil for canning. I think it’s worth trying on different fruits and vegetables to see if they’ll work. Peaches might be too soft but it would make canning them so much easier. Or making cobblers or pies. If you peel a lot of things, this could simplify the job and in that case would be worth getting.

Used for peeling small citrus until the bottom tines broke off, now useless.

The media could not be loaded. This peeler is what I have been looking for!! Amazing and works like a charm. Cut my peeling time by at least an hour!! I peel about 80 lemons for my recipe to make 10 bottles!! I’m buying another one because my friends will love this too!!! Thanks to this company!! LOVE THIS!!!

Will not peel it destroy potatoe and orange

I am very, very happy with this product. It really does work. Just have to be very careful of cleaning the product but other than that it really does work.

Good peeler for harder items like potatoes and apples, the bottom spikes tore through an orange (very good torque rotating peeler).

Is not working well, sadly is too late to return it!
