Nutrient Dense Ancient Paleolitic Version of Tubers
Super duper cool that Tiger Nuts are the prehistoric predecessor of sweet potatoes, yams and white potatoes. These are not "nuts" but they are TUBERS - very small tubers that eventually became a part of domesticated crops grown by humans and THAT is how we got sweet potatoes, yams, potatoes, jerusalem artichokes - etc. High fiber, tons of minerals and vitamins and SUPER SWEET I highly recommend you SOAK THEM OVERNIGHT in some liquid - they are on the dry and tough side if you eat them straight out of the box - you CAN chew them without soaking overnight but they are far more palatable if soaked overnight. I soak my Tiger Nuts in kombucha or non dairy probiotic kefir water overnight to give it some extraa "oomph" with a fermetned liquid. Very quickly shipped and well packaged - arrived in perfect condition - sent via US Postal Mail. I am a loyal customer and this is a great seller at a highly competitive price - tiger nuts are on the price-y side but this is about 1 kilo of tiger nuts - so the price is a lot less than other sellers or retail stores.

Tough, chewy, tastes good.
Wasn't entirely sure what to make of the reviews, seemed like the posts are going back and forth between good snack and inedible nightmare. I land on the good snack side. They basically taste very similar to raw hazelnuts, but instead of crunchy they're tough and chewy. I find myself snacking on them purely for the enjoyment of it, although eating a ton of them is more challenging than eating a ton of nuts. They're slower to eat, so I seem to get more full with fewer of then. I'm not sure how much of that tough texture is the peel, btw. I see these things listed as "peeled" by some sellers, and might try it - but I would imagine that peeling would rob them a bit of their nutritional value, and also remove some of that chewy toughness that makes them unique. Ultimately I'd recommend them, but as a snack you'd eat yourself rather than one you'd offer to someone else. That is, unless you want to be that health nut who brings over gluten-free muffins and dairy-free cheesecakes. Just check first if your group already has one, since it's mostly a comedic relief role. Get em, eat them yourself, and be moderately happy.

Makes the best AIP Nut Milk Ever!!
Oh wow. These tigernuts are so incredibly delicious when made into a nut milk. I have an autoimmune disease and am on the AIP diet. For my birthday, I got the new Nama Juicer. It is so awesome because you can make any kind of nut milk with it. I soaked these tigernuts for 3 days and then made milk with my juicer. It was so yummy and I am so happy that I found these tigernuts. Highly recommend them if you are willing to soak them and want the best nut milk ever!

This was the most amount I could get at the best price. It tastes fine (mild
I was looking for some healthier snacks. This was the most amount I could get at the best price. It tastes fine (mild, with a slight starchy sweetness) , but not necessarily "WOW -- this is AMAZING! MUST. GET. MORE." I think that phenomenon only happens with food modified chemically/molecularly to be unnaturally addictive. (doritos and KFC comes to mind...) It is chewy, but stiffer than gum, not sticky like cold saltwater taffy, but reminiscent of about same stiffness. It is not crunchy like a nut.

Not as good as the peeled Tiger Nuts
This product has to be soaked in water. I did that for 5 hours; then dried them. This unpeeled product doesn't have that sweet taste like the peeled product. Just doesn't have much taste at all. Great product for anyone on the Autoimmune Diet. This product is NOT A NUT. It is a root tuber with little balls attached to the root. High fiber. Could make you constipated. Take HCL if that happens to you. Update: I cant eat these nuts. They taste even worse after being soaked. Maybe I soaked them too long. I had put them in the oven to dry the first time ( after soaking) but I only baked them for 15 minutes. So then I decided to grind the nuts into flour. So I baked them in the oven for one hour at 185 degrees. I have a vita mix machine that can grind hard nuts. I put too many nuts in the vita mix machine to start with. Only put enough nuts to cover the blades if you decide to do the same. I read an article that said to store the nuts in the fridge if you create your own flour.

Great nuts
I love your tiger nuts. I have ordered 9 packs in 2 months. I was disappointed with the quantity of the 4 packs I ordered last. It was too dry, packed with many defected nuts.

Tiger Nuts, My New Favorite Snack and Ingredient
I love these tiger nuts! They are tasty, nutritious, and versatile. I read many of the testimonials here before making this purchase. Fortunately, I was not deterred from buying because of the negative comments. Apparently some people do not understand the necessity of rinsing and soaking the tiger nuts for at least 8 hours or “overnight“ as suggested in the instructions. You can certainly try chewing the nuts out of the bag, but, if you succeed, you are likely to end up with a broken tooth. If you allow the nuts to soak in clean water, they will soften enough to let a beautiful flavor reveal itself. The chewy fibrous outer covering is also full of nutrients, which I do not spit out. For 8 to 12 hours, I soak enough tiger nuts to last for 3-5 days. Then I rinse, towel dry, and store them in the refrigerator in an open container. When I want a snack, I grab 2-3 and chew one at a time. They add a subtle flavor to my morning smoothie. I put them in a blender with other ingredients to add substance, nutrients, and flavor to pancakes and breads. Now that I have found these, I do not intend to be without them.
