Works on 2007 fj Cruiser
Appears to do what is promises. On the early FJ cruisers there is no button to disable the traction /abs systems.This kit provides 2 cables. After an exchange with the company it appears that some years need both, some only need one.In my case I installed both and it didn’t work. Lights all stayed on. I removed the short wire (the one that goes to the blue 4wd computer) and all was well.The long cable plugs into the top right socket on the board behind the driver side kick panel (see picture) and then plug the original cable into the extension, so the switch is now in the middle.On my 2007 fj I found the switch was slightly too wide no modified the hole by trimming the plastic very slightly with a hot file and it fits.I can turn the systems off and on with the switch. I noticed if I go 30-40 mph when the switch has the systems disabled then it stays disabled until turning the engine off and on again. No big deal. Else the switch just switches those systems off and on.Nice neat wiring and the switch feels solid enough. Good for the price.
