An incredible price for 90 capsules of 500mg NAC! There is a definite odor when you open the jar, indicating to me that the bottle has not been sitting around for a while! Capsules are medium size and not difficult to swallow, no taste that I could tell. They work as well as other brands I have tried, but at a much lower price. Try them!

I've used about 6 different brands of NAC before, and while they all smell a bit bad like sulfur which is normal, this was something else entirely.It smelled like a bottle of pure rotten eggs...I left it open for a few hours to air the bottle out and then took a pill out and smelled it later, and it was still exactly the same. I tossed them in the trash, not going to risk it. I would go with another brand instead.

The bottle says it's tested in the USA as well so I feel confident taking it. This is the second brand of NAC I have tried but I don't really notice any measurable differences between the two. The typical recommendation for NAC is between 600mg and 1800mg per day so this brand falls a little short of that. I am taking 2 of these a day for 1000mg myself. This is a good value compared to some other brands I looked at.I started taking NAC for its "free radical protection" on the advise of a friend. It has many benefits due to its ability to replenish glutathione which is a powerful antioxidant and may help improve a variety of health conditions. As with most supplements the benefits can go unnoticed for awhile so I rely on the science and studies for information. I encourage everyone to do their own research.

Lots of benefits for NAC, so I try to keep this in my daily stack. I know it has some respiratory benefits so when I am going through some seasonal issues...I bring this into the mix. It also helps with detoxification which I am currently about to start up my yearly detox, so the timing works for me. Also supposedly it does things with glutathione that my body wants anyway...so all in all, I'm down for it.

I have been taking various brands of NAC daily for years, and was suprised when I saw the comparativelylower price for 100 days of this Genex NAC supplement, even though this is filled & tested in the US. However each of these capsules only contains 500mg of NAC and I'm accustomed to taking 600mg/day. This Genex NAC also has an unpleasant odor too-- I left the lid off for a couple hours to try and fumigate it, but had to move it into another room because I could still it. It doesn't smell as awful as one other horrible smelling brand that I recently tried, I'll still be able to use-up these after I continue to let it air out. But in the future I'll pay a few dollars more and revert to one of my usual brands to avoid the smell and get the higher strength.
