A great addition to any security or other remote-visual home needs
Image Quality The IP camera has two resolutions: standard (SD) and high-definition (HD). You can configure and customize bitrates and these quality settings to your liking. Out of the box, both default settings for SD and HD are sharp with very little to no pixelation, respectively. There is a one to two-second latency from the camera to the phone app. Regarding light levels, the camera offers two modes: full-color day light and monochromatic infrared LED (IR LED) night vision. These modes can be set by an automatic light detection threshold or by a timer. It also offers a wide field of view that is close to--if not slightly greater than--120 degrees.Installation The camera comes with all the necessary hardware to mount it anywhere you could want. Cable management is really straightforward and offers seamless waterproofing. You can power over ethernet or use the power cable with the device. It took a small amount of forethought and effort to move the data cable within the camera mount to point and position the lens in the desired direction.Build and Design The camera looks nice and has a compact form factor. It is stated as waterproof for outside mounting. These statements appear legitimate. The camera can be mounted at any angle and pointed in almost any direction from this mount.Connectivity and Storage The camera works with or without an NVR via Cat5 ethernet cable. Either way, you need a router or switch to utilize the camera. There is no WIFI access. In terms of storage, you can use an SD card, ONVIF NVR, or the cloud.Software and Features The recommended viewing software "Videolink" has an expected functionality and UI. The said UI is easy to navigate and is pretty self-explanatory. The two-way audio mode selection doesn't clearly explain how to turn the function on and off. Nonetheless, it does work just fine. The audio alarm/alert feature is a nice touch, but it doesn't appear to use an actual alarm sound and uses a spoken warning.Regarding the advanced features and 'back of house' customizing, most needs will be met, but it does lack some finer abilities that other cameras possess. Overall, there are no issues with installing, calibrating, setting up, and using the phone software. It is also compatible with desktop software, which I have not fully tested yet. I do not have any digital assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant, so these could not be tested.Security Because this camera is PoE and not WIFI-based, it is much more secure than WIFI cameras. Access control is pretty straightforward and can be done through the phone app, PC programs, or SD card access.Price and Value The camera is priced fairly for its value, features, and performance.Pros and Cons Overall, the camera was a breeze to set up, install, and use. In terms of its purpose, the camera would be a great addition to any security or other remote-visual home needs.

Fantastic Camera for Both Home and Business
I recently purchased the SV3C 4K POE Dome with Human/Vehicle Detection Camera from Amazon to enhance the security of my home, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance.First and foremost, the setup process was incredibly straightforward. Within minutes of unboxing the camera, I had it connected to my network and streaming live footage to my smartphone. The accompanying app is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to access the camera's feed from anywhere with just a few taps.In terms of image quality, the SV3C 4K POE Dome camera delivers sharp and clear video footage, even in low-light conditions. The high-resolution camera captures every detail with impressive clarity, ensuring that I never miss a thing. Whether it's monitoring the front door or keeping an eye on the backyard, I can rely on this camera to provide crystal-clear imagery day or night. One feature that sets this webcam apart is its advanced motion detection capabilities. The camera can intelligently detect motion and send instant alerts to my phone, allowing me to quickly respond to any potential security threats. Additionally, the customizable motion zones feature allows me to specify areas of interest, further reducing false alarms. The camera also can be configured to work with any 3rd party DVR software which supports ONVIF and RTSP (like iSpy or Blue Iris)I also appreciate the built-in two-way audio functionality, which allows me to communicate with visitors or intruders remotely. Whether it's deterring package thieves or checking in on pets while I'm away, the ability to speak through the camera adds an extra layer of security and convenience.Build quality is another area where the SV3C 4K POE Dome camera excels. The camera feels sturdy and well-built, with weatherproofing to withstand the elements. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my investment is protected against rain, snow, and other harsh conditions.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the SV3C 4K POE Dome camera It offers reliable performance, excellent image quality, and a range of features that make it an invaluable tool for home security. Great little IP cam for home security day or night
I purchased this camera to replace my aging IP cam at my front door. The pictures I posted are of where the camera is mounted, normal lighting conditions, dusk, and nighttime with no light. As you can see the image is clear in all three situations. The pros of this camera are 1. inexpensive, 2. easy to setup, 3. works with many NDVR setups, and 4. The picture clarity is great day or night and 5. the size - its smaller than I thought in the pictures. The cons of this camera are 1. the cable dongle is visible and accessible (note it hanging down in the first picture). I will try to wrap up the dongle but I wish it was hidden in the mounting area. 2. Mounting options are limited.Overall I would recommend this camera and I am considering buying a few more to replaced older cameras that I have since the image is so clear on this one.
