Hanafuda : Sakura + Sutda

As another reviewer mentioned, what I received is only Hanafuda : Sakura (and not Sutda), but it is a nice, quality deck. In addition to the 48 main cards, it has 2 jokers and 5 cards that summarize the yakus / point scoring that could be used as jokers if you were using the deck for other games (they have the same back pattern as the other cards). Nice artwork on the cards. Recommended if you are searching for a hanafuda or hwa-tu deck that ships from Europe for quicker delivery to the UK.

I was looking for a deck of cards to play Koï Koï, and these are perfect. The shape and solidity of the cards is more like standard Western decks, so won't be a surprise for European players. The cards have markings which help with playing the Sakura game (but of course are not particularly useful for Koï Koï, which has quite different rules). The game comes with a rulebook that explains how to play Sakura; the rulebook is in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Dutch. I really can't fault the production on this, and it's exactly what I was looking for, hence the 5 stars. However, be aware that unlike advertised, the box is only for Sakura. It doesn't come with rules for how to play Sutda, nor does it come with the tokens described in some of the earlier French reviews.
