Awesome sensory tool and amazing night light!
The media could not be loaded. This was an awesome purchase. My son loves them. I bought these lights for my special needs son. He suffers from Autism and Fragile X. He loves sensory stimuli and most recently it was flicking the lights off and on throughout the house. Secondly, he has a tough time sleeping at night. I got these lights to be used as a parent led sensory activity. Once plugged in, all my son has to do is lightly touch the hex and the light come on. It’s fantastic.I mentioned parent led activity, because there are some small pieces and connectors that a child could swallow. However, once you put the connecting feet together, it’s really tough to take the shape you make apart. With the usb to usb connector for the power source, I can use my laptop, the provided wall adapter, or one of my cell phone charger bases. It comes with adhesive backing for use on the wall. I plan on putting one of these by his bed so he can play with it at night, then using the others for floor activities. There are many uses for these lights but for me, it is a really cool, easy to use sensory toy and night light.

Great for sensory rooms!!!
The media could not be loaded. We’re turning our daughters bedroom into a sensory room for her and this has been a wonderful addition to the room! If you rent i’d suggest using something other than the adhesive it comes with.

These are cool
I got these lights for my autistic toddler, and he really likes it.They connect to each other very loosely, and sometimes they don't light up, so you have to play around with the connections to get them to work.Very bright and fun.

Great sensory tool
Got this for my nonverbal autistic daughter. She's 6 and loves changing the colors and just the general tapping on it.

Pick a different one
We found these difficult to work and my 4 year old ripped them right off the wall, along with some paint. Would not recommend

Change the Design & Colors: whenever you feel like it
The media could not be loaded. These lights are great for game rooms, ET areas, as a night light, in an office, and anywhere else you can let your imagination or creativity loose. The hexagon shapes of the lights give it a quasi-Minecraft type feel when creating some designs yet enough sides to do more than merely square cube block building. I tried several different shapes so far, including a sword, connected loops, random side connects, etc. These let your imagination loose and can have some pretty impressive results. You start with a USB hub and use the connectors to link to the other hexagons making sure the power flows correctly (it is one way from the hub). The triangular connectors keep the shape in place but note they are tough to remove so only put them where critical and when your design is done (and tested first). Each light has a touch control capability that allow you to change the color with each tap/touch. The remote seems to control the hexes you have not touched or set to the default mode (cycled all the way thru). You can see in my video how the handle of the sword stays one color that was selected on each hex light but the ones in the sword blade cycle thru all the colors available. There are adhesive pads to mount your design to the wall. I opted to use the stand so I could move it around and change the design easily. The stand does need to use the adhesive tape or weight and new double sided tape if you move it around from time to time.People love the design and playing with the lights and the remote when they are here. It's fun to try different light combinations (via tap/touch) and pretty cool little light feature to have around.

Fun light set
I got these lights for mood and accent lighting in my craft room. When I opened the box, I realized that everything was packed very well and that I would have to put it all together. By all, I mean that you have to insert the electrical connections between the lights and then put in the little pins that hold them together. I almost gave up, it looked so daunting. But I persevered. I laid them all out in a pleasing arrangement, then set about putting in the electrical connections. A note on this: Pay attention to where the arrows are. I got one in upside down and that light didn't work until I turned it over. Then I put in the pins, put the whole thing on the wall with some command strips, and plugged it in. You can use the remote to control these, but then you miss all the fun. These are also touch controlled, so if you tap it or run your finger over it, it changes color. I spent about half an hour playing with them and it was really kind of neat. Another warning: If you have these near your desk, your productivity level is likely to drop. These don't put out enough light to work by. They are mood lighting, not task lighting. But they are fun and colorful and just what I wanted. I may buy more of these and perhaps send a set to my daughter at college, they're that much fun.
