L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Washable Mascara, Blackest Black, 0.25 fl. oz.

Best mascara I have found! I've tried other reasonably prices mascaras (I simply can't justify spending a small fortune on make-up) and this one by far is the best in my opinion.Pros:-Nice selection of colors. I'm blonde with near transparent eyelashes and favor the black but have also used the brown. It looks natural.-Does not smudge. Isn't waterproof but is fairly resistent to smearing yet is easy to remove. This is by far the biggest benefit to this mascara. I have an oily eyelid (am I the only one with this issue?) which tends to make my eyeshadow and mascara to blend around the eye. I've never had any issues with this mascara and have been using it for 2+ years.-Does not flake or chip. Unlike some other mascara that leaves small remnants under or in my eyes, this one never begins to chip away.-Easy to apply. Brush is simple design but enough to cover all my eyelashes without issues. It's not fancy.-Easy to open and hold while applying mascara.-Inexpensive/affordable. There's no reason to buy a 'fancier', more expensive department store brand.Cons:-Needs to be removed nightly. If for some reason I don't take off the mascara the night before, my eyes are incredibly dry in the morning. I haven't noticed this with other mascara.-Wish it had an expiration date on the tube. Just kidding. This is to say that the mascara lasts so long that I'm likely not following the 'get a new mascara every x months" rule. One tube usually lasts me 4-6 months.

I admit it: I'm biased toward the L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly mascara brand. I bought a tube when it first came out and instantly fell in love with it: the style of the wand, the way it applied, the way it made my lashes look, everything. It immediately became my mascara of choice. So when L'Oreal changed things up and came out with this new variety of Butterfly mascara, the Butterfly Intenza, naturally I had to try it. And wow! I didn't know they could improve upon perfection! This Intenza mascara makes my eyelashes look so full and, well, intense, like I'm wearing false lashes after applying just one coat. And I'm a blonde, which means my lashes aren't exactly starting as bold or dark. Even though I use an eyelash curler to help, I really don't need to because the design of the brush lifts and curls my lashes as I apply the mascara. About the only type of Butterfly mascara I don't use is the waterproof as I don't need that kind of staying power; that said, the regular Butterfly mascara, Intenza or no, does pretty well at being smudge- and tear-proof. Because it's not waterproof, I don't have any problems removing it: I use the  The Honest Company 3-in-1 Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes, 30 Count (Pack of 4) , which are fabulous and take off the mascara with little effort.In the end, I can't recommend this mascara highly enough!

I love the brush on this mascara. It makes it really easy to distribute mascara all the way to the base of my lashes on the outer corners. The brush is soft but stiff enough that you can comb out clumps if you get them in your lashes on accident. Separates and defines lashes very well. The formula is nice and wet when you first open it. When you've had it for a bit, it dries out a little (similarly to every other mascara I've owned) but still goes on very well. I never have flakes or smearing. The only time I ever reapply during the day is if I am going out at night and want a little more definition.

Being 63 years old, my eyelashes have thinned out over the years. This mascara is awesome and gives me eyelashes again! See my before and after photos. Two layers is all I need. No flaking and it lasts until I wash it off at night. Very easy to remove with either a make up wipe or face soap and water.

Love product, but can’t find in retail stores!

Tried them all.. and i always go back to this one, the comb is perfect to brush the lashes, and make them look more feathery, yes , the gel is thicker than usual, and the mascara doesn't last as long as others (dries up) but it is the best one in terms of lash thickness, length, ease of applying and removing. I just love it

So far it goes on well. I put it on around 7 am and by 6pm it'll start flaking a little, but that's 11 hours of good stay on power. I'm happy and unless I find another product between now and my next tube, I'll buy again.

Not as good as the l'oreal in the pink tube. It is a little thin. I don't like the applicator, too flimsy.

I tried this new version of L'Oreal mascara; I have been using the other voluminous (gray one) which is much better than this one

Great volume, apply sparingly.
