The connection works perfectly a long a you are within the max distance. Plug and play, I use mine with an adapter because the tv did not seem to have enough power to keep it running smoothly. Picture quality is great. It is a great value for the money vs having to run a long cable. They do run very warm but does not seem to effect the products functionality.

In the past I waste my time and money with cheaper similar products, some only work for a few times and every time I had to repeat the setup process, with this product was only plug 🔌 & play ▶️, actually I'm trying to contact the seller because I want to buy two more receivers. The price is right for the less than 5 minutes to setup. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

I bought this in June of this year (2024). When I first bought it, I tested it out by connecting it to my camera's HDMI output and then to a general monitor and it worked well enough. Since then, I haven't used it at all - it's been sitting safely in my bag for a few months. Now, I do want to use it. However, the TX and RX cannot seem to form a connection with each other. Both units have sufficient usb-c power. On the screen attached to the receiver unit, it shows an animation indicating that I need to plug in the transmitter to the source (i.e. it shows a computer). However, I've firmly connected the transmitter to my camera's HDMI output, just as I had in June, and it does not detect anything. I tried connecting the TX to an older macbook pro's HDMI output; the screen flashed for a second, but the unit does not show up as a display in the OSX display settings. I tried plugging the unit into a brand new Macbook Pro 2024 (which has an HDMI output); on the new Macbook's screen flashes briefly, the transmitter shows up for a second as a new monitor in the OSX display settings and the link icon on the TX unit blinks, and then a second later the screen flashes again and it disappears. So neither old nor new macbook's work with this transmitter, and neither will an HDMI camera. I've tried re-pairing the units multiple times, but the unit is still never detected. I tried looking for a way to contact support for this unit, but it seems Amazon is the only recourse for that. However, they wouldn't be able to provide specific debugging steps to debug this unit. I'm disappointed because I had high hopes for this unit - I like the size and simplicity if it. However, it doesn't seem that the reliability is there given that it's not working after only a few months of VERY light use.

Great for transmitting from your laptop to your computer or overhead projector.

Mainly bought it to stream the HDMI output from my camera system to my TV so I don't have to use a computer to watch the cameras without connecting a monitor to the recorder box. For some reason it doesn't register the output from the box. I tested with an HDMI cable connected to a monitor and it worked. I just can't get this device to work with it. I like the device since it does stream my laptop to my TV as a duplicate or extended monitor much better than "casting" it. The next day after purchasing this it dropped in price so I had to purchase again and return one in order to save another 30 dollars. So for just over $100, I'll keep it. I tested it with my game console and it worked okay with that as well. I didn't really play much so I didn't notice lag. I do notice the lag from the laptop to the TV but for what little I use it for, this works fine.

The product arrived quickly and was as advertised, plug and play. I love it and it works as I expected. It allows me to enjoy seamless video and audio streaming. I use it to connect my laptop to the TV across the living room. I can project the switch onto an HDMI projector. It's a very portable solution and I can throw it in my bag without fiddling with tangled cables. Another feature that impressed me was its signal range. The price and quality exceeded my expectations! The customer service and after sales service is also top notch and the product and seller are very trustworthy! The value it offers is unmatched!

If you're just planning on using this for movies from your computer or DVD/Blu-ray player then I 100% would recommend it. I moved our Blu-ray player into our office room a few rooms away, which means it was going through 3 walls. There was some artifacts but overall very decent and when I moved it back to it's normal spot just below the tv it was completely lagless. I felt extremely confident attempting on my computer for gaming. Set up, for me anyway, was very easy. Hooked it up to my beast of a tower and just loaded up Netflix; streamed it flawlessly, double downing my confidence in a game. Booted up Cyberpunk and immediately noticed choppiness. Started up the game, with FPS showing, and despite my PC running it a consistent 80fps it jumped and skipped like it was legitimately 20fps. Figured maybe it was that it was trying to transfer too much so I locked the fps at a max of 50, still horrendous. Hooked up a hardlined HDMI and it was back to normal, which obviously means it's the wireless transmitter. I then tried something a bit easier, Minecraft on the lowest quality, and still horrific. My assumption is that it's actually going at 20-30 fps (20-30hz) and because most things are filmed at that rate that it's not noticable when watching movies etc but extremely noticeable when playing a game. I'll definitely continue using it for our movies, but gaming will need to keep it hardlined, which is sad because that's what I originally bought it for. Notes: Construction is really nice feeling. It does get warm, but not worrisome degree. I really like that it comes with an extension and USB to USB-C adapter. I highly recommend not thinking of this as something you can use to stream to the opposite side of your house, if you do then you're in for a bad time. Keep the line of sight from the transmitter to the receiver as unobstructed as possible.

It’s really just plug and play. No external antenna is attached like others do. Very happy with the performance. The transmission quality is very stable, no delay or lag. Very convenient to connect between devices like big screen TV and laptop wirelessly. I can use it to connect my mirrorless Sony camera with the adapter provided. A little pricey but worth it. Hopefully the next generation will be smaller in size in future but for now it’s still highly recommended.

Unfortunately this didn’t work for what we needed (broadcasting from our phone) since the included adapters are not USB-C. By looking at the photos we thought one would be USB-C but we were wrong and can’t see anywhere in the listing that describes the adapter plugs.
