A worthwhile investment.
Performs well - most I have added is 20kg plate.Easier if you add 2 smaller plates rather than 1 big one so the weight hangs lower.Reasonably comfortable, can take a few secs to set up but if your rest period is 45-60 secs then this does not matter.A worthwhile investment for weighted dips and pullups for many people.

Great gym kit
This is the second belt of this kind that I've had, the first being a similar offering from Myprotein (which went missing in my works gym!).The belt is very well made, it's very thick material, it's like a foam board...seems similar to those foam kick boards that you had as a kid when swimming! It is very comfortable and because of the thickness, you can put heavy weights on without it digging in at all. It also seems very sturdy, I've only tried it up to 20kg so far but handled that no probs.Compared to the Myprotein belt, the weight does not hang as low. This is good in that it's not swinging about hitting your knees. However, someone with very long legs could potentially find it not hanging quite low enough? I'm 6'2" and it was fine for me but just bear this in mind. There is a decent run on the belt so I imagine it's definitely a one size fits all. I'm 34" waist and first thought it was going to be a little big, but once you stick the weight on it holds in place no problem, it's part of the design and it works very well. It's standard set up as with most of these belts, unclip the chain, slide the chain through the desired weight plate, then clip the chain back to the belt attachment. Simples. If you're reading this and are yet to purchase a dipping belt, then just do it. It's a great tool to have, fantastic to add resistance to dips and pull ups. Much better to do weighted dips and pull ups, so you're using a combination of free weight and body weight, much better than using resistance machines. A cheap, and extremely useful bit of gym kit.I received this dipping belt at a discount in return for my honest and unbiased review. These are my personal options base on my experiences with the product and I am in no way associated with the company. If you have any questions about the product leave a comment on this review and I will do my best to answer if I am able.

Comfortable, simple to use.
For anyone familiar with the concept of a dip belt, this is your standard fare. Perfect for anyone who's looking to add a bit of weight to pull ups & dips. I picked it up to do some extra 'Grease the groove' work at home on rest days to try and improve my numbers in those two exercises. It arrives as a relatively stiff belt, but becomes pliable with a little manipulation. In use it's actually very comfortable - the fabric on the 'inside' of the belt has a bit of a felt-like feel, and sits securely on your hips whilst supporting the weight.Setting up is simple - thread the chain through a weight plate or kettlebell handle, or wrap it around a dumbbell handle, and use the clip provided to secure the weight to the belt. To use weight plates with a 1 inch hole in the centre (rather than the wider Olympic-style plates), you can easily remove the end clip, thread the chain through and then reattach the clip to the chain before securing it to the belt.Overall I'd recommend this as a good choice for a home gym or bodyweight fitness setup - particularly as a first dip-belt.** I received this product at a discount in return for an honest, unbiased review. **

Strong and solidly made
I bought this for my nephew who had previously been using a rucksack filled with weights as an alternative! (I do NOT recommend this at all!!)The belt is very thick and seems to be made of a hard rubber-y foam covered in fabric. The fabric is very well stitched and the whole belt feels well made, though I was expecting "fancier" perhaps higher quality materials, though this is certainly not necessary for the job.The belt is very bulky and strong, necessary for holding the weights! It is very simple to use- simply wrap around your waist, hook the chain though the d-hoop, attach your weight, then clip to the hoop on the other side.My nephew felt that this was comfortable enough as the thick foam provided enough padding for the belt to not dig.For my smaller waist ( and "hourglass" shape) I fond the belt was a nit too chunky and dug in to my hips and ribs a little.I felt that the belt would become a little softer with more use and that would most likely make the fit a bit more comfortable- kind of like wearing in a new pair of shoes!Overall i felt the quality of this item was suitable for the job and it seems very hard wearing which was the most important factor.Very useful for adding extra weight to your work out for more effective muscle building when performing dips, chins ups etc.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review
