Another great season of great show
Mr. Robot Season 3 another mind-blowing season full of plot twists and thing you would never expect to come true in the current season but like said with season 4 keep open mind with this season also and will totally surprise you might even make jaw dropping feeling. I am so glad I rewatch it from the beginning well worth it every episode proves worth your time and energy. Just being honest about the show not many shows come along to were you want to keep it within your collection of DVD'S in my holding folder of sleeves. I own Dexter whole series in one holder with Dexter New Blood and True Blood, plus now Mr. Robot. I own Highlander in one box set with Buffy the Vampire Slayer so forth with even other shows. But yes, spend the money and watch Mr. Robot will prove to change your life for the better.

Meh. Worth a view out of loyalty to the first two seasons and has one great episode, but for the most part not worth it.
Preface: I thought the first two seasons were masterful. As a sometime corporate IT drone with family members with mental illness and drug problems, this show hit a lot of nerves. I watched the first two seasons at least ten times each; this is one of those shows where you make new discoveries with each viewing. Also, I'm even more politically cynical than the writers (I didn't vote for Trump but was cautiously optimistic he would break a lot of things - an optimism that has of course been disappointed). I get where the bad reviews complaining about the show's politics are coming from, but I don't think the narrator's politics should be taken too seriously - one of the major points of the 2nd and 3rd seasons is just how socially destructive a strike against "Capitalism" like this is/would be.Review: Yes, this show jumped the shark. Big time. There are a few really great moments in this season (gur ovt rcvfbqr-ybat unpx qhevat n evbg va gur zvqqyr bs gur frnfba orvat gur orfg, bs pbhefr), but on the whole the plotting of the season and the writing towards the end was little short of absurd. I won't go into too much detail to avoid spoilers, but you'll know what I mean if you watch it. The hacking stuff is still pretty good, but everything else was just plain silly - especially the finale. "Rushed" is the kindest thing I can say about it. I get the feeling that after the Emmy wins for the 2nd season, the show got more attention than was good for it, some phone calls were made, and the showrunner was told mid-season it was all over and he needed to wrap things up quickly. I think a dramatic exposition of what a 21st century Revolution would look like was a little too unsettling for some people (which is ironic, since the show comes down on the side of the relative benevolence of the existing corporate order over the chaos that would follow its destruction). This show was obviously intended to go for another two or three seasons at least after this one, but so much stuff had to be crammed into so short a period that it is just a total mess (and a lot of undoubtedly interesting plot points will forever remain a mystery - for instance, gur Jryyvpxf' onpxfgbel naq zbgvingvbaf). A great many absurd dramatic shortcuts had to be taken to tie everything up, and everything is really predictable. A lot of revelations in this season will not be a shock to those who were paying very close attention to the previous two, but they are all unfortunately very clumsily displayed and ham-handed. I found myself fast-forwarding through the last episode, which is pretty sadly ironic since I remember repeatedly rewinding the dream sequence from the first season trying to tease out every last possible clue about the story's arc. This was a disappointing end to what had been my favorite show from the '10s.Bottom line: If you watched this show primarily because you were interested in the hacks and the hyper-cynical portrayal of corporate culture, this season is still worth a view - although you may want to wait for its inclusion in Amazon Prime. If the hacks did not interest you and you were viewing for other reasons, don't bother with this season (you'll be able to fill most everything in from the clues from the first two seasons, although you'll never meet Irving).

Immersive, cinematic mind-boink for the thinking viewer who enjoys a challenge!
I've been a fan since before Season 1 began broadcasting. Pre-production notes drew me to this richly cinematic experience. Justwatching with the sound off, one can learn a wealth of material about framing, camera angle, lighting, direction, etc. Sam Esmail, the creator and director, is a freaking genius. And the story is rich and multi-layered (to say the least!), which means I enjoy and actually prefer watching at least twice. I watch each episode as it arrives, and then feast (binge) again on the season as a whole. This material is very dark in places, but it will make you see things in a whole new way. Probably many new ways. You'll never take your "idle" webcam camera lens for granted again, that's for sure. Rami Malik plays Eliot Alderson, a very complex, intelligent yet troubled young man of many talents. Start with Season 1, Episode 1, and work your way through. A bumpy, often scary ride, but well worth it. Amazing story-telling, richly detailed. Deep and complex characters with backstories that are usually not what you expect. Don't believe most of what you see, and believe nothing you assume. Damn satisfying viewing, though!Warning to squeamish viewers: harsh language (which doesn't bother me, but does bother some), and violence. Always within a context though - never gratuitous. All in all, one hell of a ride! Enjoy. (By the way, each Season Finale must be watched *past* the end credits for bonus footage, or you'll miss key footage.)

Existential Perspective seems more lost in Season 3
Existential Perspective seems more lost in Season 3. I got hooked on this series because of the main character's development focusing on isolation, sadness, loneliness, meaninglessness that is, existentialism (what it is to exist) or also known as "the human condition" that so many of us suffer.I was sad to see what I took to be this series go the direction of so many others in that it brings back despicable characters as leads. It's just hard to feel right knowing a main character (Tyrell) is a psychopath that doesn't share ANY of the "human conditions" with me or the rest of humankind. At least they killed off his sociopath wife. When a writer only knows how to create tension using devices that push emotional buttons more than allowing us to think about a situation and feel emotion about it, that's what I call lazy writing. It's more along the lines of tabloid or horror show gimmicks. However, even though the writers chose to keep a psychopath main character around, we are reminded very emphatically that this character is INDEED a psychopath and the writers brilliantly include him without glorifying him. Well, done, again.I hope the writers do not forget that this is an existential substance oriented philosophical series, where the human condition is the well spring of plot direction.

If you were worried about the third season, you needn't have.
Sam Esmail is the genius writer/director of this show and he deserves all the plaudits that come for this show. Third season, and i was apprehensive before it came out, would it live up to the incredible standards set during the first season. The second season didn't quite reach it, but having said that, it was still very very good. The third season is simply riveting. New characters, like Irving (Bobby Cannavale) light up the show, like Dom (Grace Gummer) last season, are wholly suited to this expanding story line, and don't feel like a lazy writer move at all. This is a show that isn't as talked about as the Breaking Bad's and the Stranger things of this world, and i think that this is a good thing. I love that a show of this ultra high calibre is only has a 'medium' level following, because simply, it's not for everyone, a cerebral show if ever there was one. Rami Malek might have a big problem after this show is finished, because he inhabits the 'troubled' Elliot to such an extent that it is truly difficult to see him in anything else. If this goes to five seasons, and keeps this level of entertainment, then it will truly be a classic television show. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very interesting
One of those off-the-wall shows that are not formulaic. Very interesting ideas put across in an entertaining way - surely the definition of good television.
