SUPVAN T50M Pro Bluetooth Label Maker Machine with Tape, Black

Purchased the KATA T50M Pro label maker nearly a year ago for general home use. Over time I’ve been reorganising my clutter and this label maker came in very handy. The sturdy and compact box included 3 different adhesive label shapes suited to this machine. I’ve made use of the large 50x80mm label and the 40x20mm and it is easy enough to switch between label styles when required, just hit the button to repair (really simple). The unit itself is strong and durable. Easy LED buttons for on/off and paring. Nice fine perforator for easy tear-off of printed label, keeping the unit tidy and clean looking. The print quality is better than I would have expected for such a small unit. I’m really pleased with it so far. The ink doesn’t smudge like my sharpie pen I used to use. The label quality is very good. The adhesive is strong yet easily peal-able from the backing paper. The Kata App was quick to download and easy to navigate, even on my old iphone. It paired to my device via bluetooth without error. The included software templates can be used as they are, customised or just to get a feel for what you can do. Suitable images can be uploaded to use on your custom made labels. I found the ship and the bubbles (as seen on the photos I’ve included with this review) with a quick online search, cropped them and then located them through the App easily. The App/printer appears to have an online/offline mode, whereby if you create label templates whilst connected to the switched on printer, they won’t show when you’re using the App alone to design (for printing later). And vice versa, if created in App with printer turned off, they dont show when you turn it on later. They are saved, just not showing. Another thing I noticed with the saved files, different sized label templates only show for the size it was created for, and you have physically inserted in the device. Once I started labelling things I couldn’t stop. Here’s just a few things I’ve labelled amongst others. Household cleaning sprays, Travel toiletries, Travel kits, Special clothing items, Holiday keepsakes, Kitchen ingredients, Treat gift box labels, I will continue to reorganise my life and my mind with the help of this little black box of tidiness, it does everything I need for the tasks in hand. No matter if its glass bottles, cardboard boxes or plastic tubs, I know I will stay sorted and tidy.

Fantastic printer, with a really easy to use app. We use it for barcodes, ingredients, pricing & sell by dates. The choice is endless. It’s definitely pricier than a price gun, but once each product is saved the first time, it’s really easy to pull up what you need, and certainly looks more professional. Easily a 5 Star product.

This is even better than I thought. Easy to use app with more features than I can count and clear printing. The printer is palm-sized with really easy automatic label positioning, connects easily by Bluetooth.

first up the good points - its well made and sturdy the app is easy to download and works very well and has a lot of options. the labels are excellent bold text and durable unlike the last one i had where the writing would wipe off or fade over time. the downside is the labels are small and the app is not simple to use but with a bit of time i am sure will get the hang of it. apart from the limited downside it is well worth the price.

Brilliant little machine really easy to program on your phone and you can add logos etc really quickly too. Love it

I decided to buy a label maker as I've just finished organising and cataloguing my storage unit and wanted to use printed labels as my handwriting sucks. After much research I picked this, primarily because it advertises the software as being subscription free (absolutely true). You can try it without the printer by downloading the Katasymbol app and seeing how you get on. The label maker is brilliant, battery powered, wireless (but can also use via USB with a computer - Mac and Windows!). The device is compact. The label quality is fantastic. When you insert a reel of labels, it already knows the size so you can crack on with making the labels. I found the app to be intuitive but with plenty of options - shapes, graphics, fonts, borders etc all included. You can also add your own images though don't expect much from photos! Can't recommend this enough - I'm really pleased with this purchase. NOTE: These are thermal labels, you cannot attach them to anything that generates high heat (like candles) as they will just darken completely.

Cheap and simple to use. App is ok but I found it a bit tricky with setting up templates.

This has been a great tool for labelling flasks and bottles that we use at artisan markets when providing samples of our coffee. It looks a lot more professional that writing hand-written labels and sticking them on the flasks. It's simple enough to use though I am a little frustrated that I cannot get it to print a simple label black on white (it's default, for the shape of label I am using seems to be white on black) it's not a deal breaker, by any means Edit: March 2026: White on black is becoming a bit of a deal breaker. The pack came with some circular pink labels and, try as I might, I cannot get these to print properly. I have been on the Supervan website; I have looked at their YouTube instruction videos, I have even asked AI (and I hate AI with a passion). AI tells me that I can invert the text - which I have done - and I still end up with a black square with pink text on a round label. The frustrating thing is that the "welcome" label it prints automatically when you reset labels prints black on pink or black on white so there's no doubt the capability exists. I have also found that the printer really can't print any volume. You can set it print 50 or 60 identical labels but, after about 5 labels, the text becomes more and more intermittent. I wasted quite a lot of labels to find that out! For the task in hand, I've ended up buying sheets of labels which I'll print on my desktop printer. So, great for individual labels, not so good for multiples and it would be nice if the software was a bit more intuitive and the explanations were more detailed on the Supervan website.
