Saffron Extract 88.50mg 200 Veggie Caps (Vegan)

Takes the edge off my appetite, and also has another effect I didn’t anticipate but I don’t hate it. I take like 4x’s the recommended amount and I can definitely tell it is.... AHEM.... having an effect on me. Got me feeling some kind of way. Take more than the recommended amount at your own risk, though!

My husband originally purchased this product, to assist with his mood. He felt that it had assisted him in his overall well being, and suggested I give it a try. I also have times of feeling sad and overwhelmed, especially when the time changes. I have been taking now for about 3-4 weeks, and I do think I feel a little brighter. I certainly do not feel as crazy about the time change and decreased daylight as I have in the past. I am going to continue to take this saffron supplement. Just an FYI, we received product promptly, as ordered. Seller will get no complaints from us, and will purchase product again.PS I also feel the saffron has helped some with appetite. My work had pizza, which is a trigger food for me, and I didn't want to partake in eating any due to trying to limit calories, and amazingly, I was able to resist. Hmmmmmm. I'm in on continuing saffron.

So first off, this is a great value (assuming the product is genuine). I'm pretty sure you won't find a better deal out there, for one that has such a large number of what appear to be genuinely positive reviews.But I've been taking these for several months, sometimes 2 a day, and am not sure what changes, if any, could be attributed to this product. The best I can say is perhaps I experienced augmented contentment, and *maybe* some enhanced cognitive skills like word finding (but this is most likely due to the shroom complex I added a few weeks into my Saffron evaluation.So in conclusion, not sure I got much out of these. And because my money is important to me (it is finite and supports my family), I can only afford supplements that have palpable effects on my mind and / or body. But diff molecules affect diff folks differently, so ymmv and this might be your miracle cure as it seems to be for a great many folks.

I've been comparing this product with MaritzMeyer's 8825 saffron, and I think they are comparable. One's as good as the other. And the price here is FANTASTIC! So glad to be able to buy a big enough bottle to accommodate me and my husband for more than a month. I don't know how effective it is for appetite (probably it is, but I'm not paying that close attention to that aspect, but it is great for the mood. I give it to my husband for his eyes, and especially to avoid the wintertime grouchies and blahs. I noticed it worked for that. I really like it for mood, as well. Gives energy and an upbeat mood. Love it.

I purchased this product because I had read there have been studies showing positive results from taking Saffron in individuals suffering from depression. I don't have any science to back it up, but since taking this supplement in addition to Turmeric my overall lows have not been as deep. I have only been taking the supplement for a month, so I am not sure as to the long-term effect it may have, but thus far I believe there have been nothing but positive results from taking it.

The problem with gradual, long-term products like this is that I *think* my general mood has improved, but it's subtle and gradual (just like it would be with Rx options). However, I don't have to worry about side effects with this stuff, so...

WHY? I thought you might ask... I got for my teenage son with ADHD (do only with Doctors Advice!) took 2 myself the first day... Up for 3 days straight slept 10 hours like a baby woke up refreshed. I only take one every other day or so with pop in the AM and charges me within 20 min for the day. Research before you use... Great stuff =)

I bought this in place of my usual brand. (life extension optimized saffron) I had used it for several years and thought it might worth it to try something different. Not so much. I really couldn't tell it was working so I went back to life extension.
