Hanperal Wooden Mallet, Solid wood Hammer for DIY Woodworking Carving Hand work

The mallet arrived quickly. It fits the handle pretty well. As I’m used to imperial measurements and the diagram is expressed in metric it’s smaller than I was thinking. It will drive a chisel into wood. Don’t know how long it will last as the face got gouged badly after a test run. . I took a big chunk of Purple Heart lying around my shop and made myself a huge hefty mallet that’ll do whatever heavy lifting this little mallet can’t.

Maybe it's my fault, but this thing is a size that belongs in a child's toolbox. Also I will have to sand it before I use it and maybe make a longer handle if it's to be useful at all.
