Nicely designed solar light for shed/workshop
I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my own opinions. This is a nicely designed solar powered light which is great for a shed or workshop. I put in to my garden workshop which is about 18ft x10ft and it has worked really well. It was easy to set up, placing the panel on the sunniest bit of roof and then running the cable through a door gap wit a little bit of routing on the frame. You get a reasonable cable run so I could mount the lamp in the centre of the roof apex. Placing the lamp as high as you can definitely helps with illumination. The real plus with this is the remote which means you don''t have to worry about an on/off switch and you can light up on entry which is a plus. The motion sensor achieves similar results too if you just want to rely on that. I now have a light where I never had one before which is a real plus. I think £26.99 is good value too.

Decent Solar Powered Shed Light
Waiybbit Solar Shed Light 98LEDs Solar Pendant Light Daytime-On with Motion Sensor Solar Shed Lights Indoor with Switch, 3 Colour Dimming, 5 Modes, Remote, IP65 Waterproof, for Gazebo Patio. This well designed hanging shed light was perfect for my 6x9ft shed, offering plenty of light when needed, especially as my shed has no windows. It's easy to install, just fix to the inside roof of your shed and attach the solar panel on the outside so that it faces the best way to receive optimum sunlight. Then run the lead from the solar panel to the light, connect and you're done. All fittings are included and the solar panel bracket can be angled to get the best position as required. The solar panel doesn't just provide electricity to the light, it actually charges it as well. The battery is fitted within the light itself so will work without being attached to the panel as long as it has enough charge. 4 LED indicators inside the light show charge levels. This makes it a portable as well as a fixed lighting option. The light itself is plenty bright enough for my shed and it has adjustable brightness levels and colour temperatures as well as several operating levels, such as coming on when motion is detected or on all the time etc.A handy remote control is also included. The light is also waterproof so it's not just restricted to use in an indoor space such as a shed. It's pretty versatile overall and can be used anywhere that requires lighting. This is a perfect solution for a shed such as mine that has no electricity source and it works really well and provides more than enough light as well as several lighting options.

Solar Powered Portability
The other reviews have the videos of this light working but until you see it you don't really get an idea as at how bright it is. Some bright spark decided to put charge indicator inside the shade so you get blinded whilst checking the charge. It's got three temperature colours and is dimmable. Various modes for daylight/night time using of which trying decipher what they do is beyond me. The instructions aren't very good English. There's no weight to the unit making it easy to humph around. A huge long lead means you'll find a place for it to sit and still get the sun. A remote control is included so you can satisfy your switch itch. It's a versatile lamp but it's greatest feature is you don't need the panel, once it's charged, to use it. The light itself contains the battery. Just leave the charger where it gets the sun and take the light to it. I dare say a few of these will get adapted to run off a power bank or a bigger solar panel. They have an IP65 rating for those who are into such things, all I know is it'll do for outside. It'll actually do for anywhere because the battery is in the light. I do have to say I'm fast becoming a fan of rechargeable lights, they're so handy. This one being outdoor rated and nice to look at might just be my favourite. Oh my god, I'm gibbering on about lights. Help, I need a light, er life!IPs I decided to leave it in the sun to see how long it took to reach full charge. After three days I'm still waiting. For the sun, that is. Trying to charge a solar battery in Britain, in March what am I on?

Cheap and cheerful lights that fail to wow.
This review is for the non motion sensing lights. The lights arrive in a plain brown cardboard box with no text on it at all.In the box is a solar panel, two pendant lights with leads attached, a remote control and an instruction leaflet.Calling it an instruction leaflet is actually a bit of a stretch as it is very small with small blurry print and not a lot of useful information working out the functions isn't too difficult but required a bit of trial and error. The solar panel is your run of the mill outdoor panel like you get with most solar outdoor equipment, if a little bit bigger than the usual. The pendant lights themselves are extremely light weight, I am using the lights on the end of hanging brackets and I had to cable tie the lights to the brackets as they kept getting blown off even in a gentle gust, obviously if you are using the lights in a garden building this won't be an issue. The remote is very basic with just 3 buttons for a timer and 3 buttons for brightness as well and an On and Off buttons and it has to be quite close to the lights to function and only affects the light unit it is being pointed at.The lights are easy to install with decent length leads to connect to the solar panel and appear to be well protected from the elements as mine have been subjected to everything the British weather has thrown at them recently. At full brightness the lights produce enough light to illuminate a small shed or read under if they aren't too far away.Overall, inexpensive and basic solar lights that appear to be well weather proofed but just don't have any wow factor to them.
