Poly Blackwire 5220 Stereo USB-C Headset +3.5mm Plug +USB-C/A Adapter

Very well made despite looking like some of the wire is a bit thin. I've used a lower end model of Plantronics at work, and having spent hundreds on pairs before, I could feel the quality of the build. These ones have a mute and volume control on the wire, making it useful when I am gaming or working. I can wear these for many hours without any discomfort, and would highly recommend these for anyone working on a computer and needing a decent set of headphones. I also use them on the train, since the USB-C connector means I can use them with my Android phone.

Decent build quality, fairly comfy and flexible in that they can be plugged in by USB or minijack. Minus points for zero low-frequency response. I understand they want to maximise intelligibility on calls, but I want to use them for live-streaming so I need to hear low frequencies. There should be the option to adjust EQ on the app.

VERY Quick delivery! I would never use another headset again! This headset as it has a USB-C which slots into a USB-A there is also a jack connection which can be pulled out of the volume control. As a professional coach and consultant I spend hours on teams & zoom so the noise cancellation head phone is perfect. The quality of the headset is perfect as the ear phones are a soft leatherette ear cushions with memory foam and a lightweight, adjustable, and foldable headband. There is a control for answering/ending calls, volume adjustment, and muting which is perfect for those conference calls! To tidy away at the end of the day you can pop them in the breathable bag.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I started using this today to replace my fantastic Sennheiser PC 8 headset after the foam speaker covers disintegrated. This headset is brilliant so far for sound quality and noise suppression. I had a fan running closely to me and some noisy hedge trimming people outside with my windows open and my colleague could not hear a thing. Lightweight and very comfy leatherette speaker covers. So far the functioning of the settings on the cable work well too. No connection issues using MS Teams - plug n play!

I’ve been using the Poly Blackwire 5220 headset daily for work calls, virtual meetings, and listening to audio while multitasking at home, and overall I’m very impressed with the quality and comfort. I needed a reliable headset that could handle long hours of use without hurting my ears or constantly disconnecting, and this one has done exactly that. The audio quality is clear on both ends during calls. Voices sound crisp without sounding overly sharp, and the microphone does a great job reducing background noise. I have kids at home, so having a mic that doesn’t pick up every little sound in the background has been a huge plus during meetings. Comfort was another major factor for me, and this headset feels lightweight enough to wear for several hours at a time. The ear cushions are soft and don’t create too much pressure, even during longer workdays. I also like that the headband feels adjustable without feeling flimsy. Setup was quick and straightforward.
