Works with Mac Pro 5,1
Took a chance on this because the item listing did not say anything about Mac compatibility, but luckily it was just plug n' play in my 2009 Mac Pro 4,1 / 5,1 running Monterey. No driver installation needed, even though it did come with a driver disc.It even lists Mac 10.8 to 10.10, Mac 12.12 and later as a system requirement in the Quick Install guide. Maybe they just forgot got to include it in the listing?Either way, it's a great option to bring USB 3.1 Gen 2 to your old Mac Pro Cheesegrater.

Works Great, Plug & Play on WIn11
This was a really easy Plug & Play on my new Windows 11 PC, though a driver CD still came with it. Tested a USB flash drive & it was much faster. Recommend this for anyone who want to add and external drive for backup or whatever.

Seems to work
It's nice to have more USB ports, especially USB C these days. Since my desktop doesn't have a disc drive at all I had to Google for the driver fortunately just searching up "binardat drivers" very easily brought up a page with the USB2A1C.zipUnfortunately I can't provide a direct clickable link to the 'download slash filename' due to review policy.

Didn't work for me in Win11
Others had noted the plug and play ability of this card with Win11. I did not find it to be true. I did everything. Plugged, unplugged, replugged, tried a different slot. Looked for the non-existent drivers for Win11 on the included disk. Went to the website to find.....nothing. Packed up and sent back.

no support on manufacturer's website
The device came with a mini-dvd containing the drivers for it. This is apparently the only way to install the drivers; Windows 10 did not automatically find the device and load drivers, and when I went to the website listed in the printed instruction sheet, the the printed instructions for finding the drivers on the website did not match the website itself. I could find a page describing the device but there were no drivers for it under the 'downloads' tab.The device does work, but only if you have that mini-dvd to install the drivers.

Add USB 3.0 to your old PC
This card was easy to install in one of the available expansion slots. It was very simple to configure, and was pleasantly surprised I could install drivers for it on an old Windows 7 PC! This provides some great expandability options to older PCs without committing to WIndows 10/11. The USB 3.0 speeds are nice and fast, and great for any USB 3.0 compatible peripheral!

Very good card but one major design flaw...
The card itself actually works great, no issues, good read/write speed. The only issue I have with this card is the orientation of the usb socket, they are vertical. If you see the picture, the usb connector is so tight against the PCI slot, literally there's no room left and this makes it extremely difficult to insert USB devices. If you plan to use this for things like keyboards and mouse which you dont need to take out often, this may not bother you. However, if you have usb keys, connecting to cameras or other devices that you need to remove often I'd recommend getting a horizontal orientation. Other than this, the card is perfect. I had to return the card however because of this design issue.
