Nature's Approach Aromatherapy Belted Lumbar Wrap Herbal Pack

Nature's Approach Aromatherapy belt is amazing. I frequently suffer from sciatic pain and general muscle soreness in my lower back. Especially after working out. The product comes in a sturdy, zip lock bag for storage. I love that I can heat this up and attach it to my back, without having to be plugged in. This is especially nice if you want to sleep with it on, since you don’t have to worry about electrical hazards.It is recommended you store it in the freezer, to maintain the freshness of the herbs. The directions said to put in the microwave for a minute and a half. That is probably fine if you start out at room temperature, but since I keep it in the freezer, it takes about two and a half minutes to heat. The first time I used it, while I was waiting for it to heat in the microwave, I put my nose in the bag and inhaled. Aaahhh. Smelled so good! Don’t judge me. I am a firm believer in aroma therapy. The medicinal herbs used in this product work to sooth and relax both your muscles and your mind. It has a perfect combination of cinnamon, chamomile, fax seed, lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, clove, spearmint, valerian root, white willow, yarrow and yarrow dock root.I have a few similar microwavable heating pads, but they smell really weird. Like old chicken soup. This one has a very pleasant aroma, which is not too overpowering. The fabric is very pretty. The belt has a surprisingly large, sturdy clip and is easy to adjust. Very happy with this product!

Purchased this as a gift. Straight out of the bag this thing smells AH-mazing!! Follow instructions for microwaving so that you do not overcook the stuffings. The strap works great for normal sized people that would be a size large or smaller. I have purchased two of these. One is over 5 years old and still going strong. Keep it in a bag when not in use to preserve the herbal smell. The smell is very lovely and you will want to keep it as long as possible. My oldest pouch does not have much scent anymore, but again, its 5 years old. Great for shoulders, neck, pelvis area, and back. The heat will last for about 30 minutes.

Fabulous! I suffer from sciatica and using this heated is fabulous for it....easily heats in one minute in the microwave....lasts about 20 minutes of strong warm even heat....then you can heat it again. The belt is easy to use and would fit just about anyone less than 250 pounds - just tighten it the amount you want - or don't use it - your choice. I can't get over how much relief this has given me.

I LOVED using this on my back and to be able to walk around with it is amazing. After just a couple of months, though the material starts to get small holes that will continue to grow and leak out the stuff on the inside. I was able to use mine a couple times pretty much daily for maybe 3 or 4 months and then I had to toss it. I loved it so much, I bought a second one. However, after tossing the second one, I decided to try a different style to see if it is more durable.

I give 4 stars only because I personally didn't care for the aromatherapy smell, hopefully that wears off with continued use. I will continue to use because it heats up well, it's large enough to cover the area I need it to, and it's well constructed and portable. I suffer from severe menstrual cramps that radiate back and forth from my lower back to front lower abdomen. The strap is adjustable and can hold the pack very close to any where you need relief, without anything to plug in. I can loosen the strap to easily shift it from back to front depending on my needs. Also undetectable under a sweatshirt so can be worn at work and reheated as needed if you have access to a microwave. I've heated it up to two full minutes so far and it retains heat for at least an hour and a half that way. This has been a very helpful heating pad for me so far, I've used for two months.

I suffer from back, neck, and shoulder pain. This heating pad is a godsend, I use it almost everyday. I've tried many others and even though they work well, the material inside gets smelly and fabric gets warped or cinged. This fabric is strong and very nice looking. The strap is also very thick and strong. And it smells wonderful, very relaxing!!!

This little heat pack is my savior every month when I have the worst cramps in the world! It stays warm for a reasonable amount of time and I love how it smells I've used it a ton and it still smells just as good as the day I got it! The strap is also great so I'm not confined to my bed or forced to go without hands. I'm gonna get one for all my friends for their birthdays and such!Update:It's been a few months and I still love my heat pack but it unexpectedly ripped at one of the seams in between the rows! I've been trying to come up with a temporary solution for the rice spilling out because it's not something I can sew shut at my skill level! I don't think this was a manufacturer error but I just wanted to bring attention that it happened to me just in case it's happening to other people!! Still 5 stars tho!!!

I really like these belted wraps. For shoulder pain, low back pain and even hip pain these wraps provide a nice moist heat release that helps soothe aching muscles and joints. What is really helpful is that it can be worn if you need to move around. It is easy to adjust the belt for a nice snug fit around my low back, hip and even my shoulder (worn like a cross over bag). The heat lasts about 20 - 25 minutes before I need to re-heat in the microwave. To me the natural grains inside the wrap provide a more even moist heat than other wraps with synthetic microbeads. The scent is herbal and pleasant but it doesn't last long if you use the wrap regularly like I do. I have several as other family members like to use them and I've given several as presents always with great reviews.

I have lower back pain and ordered this for me to use at the office. The belt is amazing at keeping the pack exactly where you want it, even though I'm up and down from my desk and walking around quite often. It's fairly thin so I can wear it under my top and over a camisole. The scent of the herbs is very nice but not oppressive. Unfortunately it only stays warm for about 20 minutes, so you do have to re-heat it fairly often, but the convenience of the belt means that I get more constant relief through my day.According to the package, it also works as a cooling pack, but I haven't tried it that way yet.

Love the smell!! Its not over powering like some reviews I've seen. I was worried at first but the smell is very pleasant and it works great in multiple spots due to the clip.
