My Dad has a 6 gallon tank with a curved front. I clean it every week when I visit him and you can see through the glass when I get there. He always feels bad that it is so messy. This is a super useful little tool and they told no lies about the magnet being very strong. This little scrubber easily clamped onto the front of my standard 10g tank and held solid as I went to work cleaning the glass. It got everything off both sides and didn't miss any spots so I had to go over it by hand. The external side has a nice soft material that polishes the glass. I play games with my betta using dry-erase markers (he chases the lines I draw), and that soft material took away every last trace of ink left after I wiped it down with paper towels. I did not expect the magnet to be this effective. The size is perfect, the magnet holds tightly, and the scrubber/polisher gets the job done in just a couple of minutes. Also doubles as a toy, as my betta had a ball chasing the inside scrubber around the glass XD He's a character.

Other magnetic scrubbers I’ve used force me to bring both pieces to the surface, separate them, and reconnect on the next pane of glass. I have a 10 gallon tank for my betta fish, and super hard water where I live that causes build up (I do 75% distilled water from the store, and 25% tap water to get perfect parameters). It will take some time to scrape off the hard water deposits, but it blows through algae no problem! Pros: small & convenient, strong magnet, removes algae with ease, and great price Cons: you have to go slow or it vibrates and makes noise that could scare fish (mine wasn’t fazed by it in the slightest, he was curious), takes some time to get hard water deposits off All in all, this device is handy as heck and certainly helps me with my dreaded tank cleanings.
