MOTOPOWER MP69040 Car OBD2 Scanner Check Engine Fault Code Reader Diagnostic Scan Tool, Black

I bought this for an engine warning light that led to a breakdown. I was told what the fault was and repaired the car myself but had no way to cancel the error on the cars system. So purchased this to try to avoid paying a garage for what only takes a minute at most.. so it's easy to use and immediately showed me the fault then I cleared it and no more issues, well except one.. the engine light wouldn't go away. After further reading it turns out that my car needs a set number of start/ stops or a set distance for the light to turn off ( self diagnose ) but at least this tool got the car out of limp mode and fully cleared the error message. It does seem to have a lot of other features that seem to me as useful to.. definitely value for money as the garage would have charged me at least what this cost to clear that problem

Well worth the money diagnosed the issues and cleared them after the repair

bought and used once. took it out of box 5 months later and red screen and unusable. the company haven't replied to emails/website contact.sorry to say an utter dud and poor customer service.

I recently bought one to diagnose why the engine management light was on, I carefully read the instructions and I was able to diagnose and fix the fault quite easily although I do have a basic knowledge and tools to do my own car maintenance. I used Google Ai to find out what the fault code meant. I was impressed with the fault reader and I'd recommend it.
