It worked well as an oven thermometer. Could have had a more substantial base. Not easy to balance or an oven shelf! But it did the required job once I found the best way to stand it without it falling over.

It's a good thermometer. I've learned a few things about my oven by using this (I checked it in someone else's oven to check the accuracy). Placing it can be an issue, as it's easiest to hang it from the front of a shelf, but it's easily displaced if you're not careful when you put a tray in. You don't want to be fiddling with it while you're wearing oven mitts! I keep mine toward the side of the shelf, so I have to keep the inside of the door clean enough to see through the edge as well as the middle. Still a useful purchase, though.

These a great price and appear to be accurate. They are the same temperature when in the same oven and reliable confirm the temperature. Happy

I'm short so reading the display is no real problem for me, but a tall person may have difficulty in a free standing oven

No idea how accurate this thermometer is - bought it for my Rayburn and seems to work fine - left it in the oven for a few days. One would have to buy another make to compare accuracy but I'm happy with the result I'm getting - seems about right.

Typically doesn't hang or sit in my oven so I propped it against the wall.Did what it said. Checked my temperature.

It seems accurate enough but couldn't read it without removing it and getting up close. Wouldn't buy again as prefer to see in oven or through glass oven door.

I bought this thermometer as I experience problems with overheating in my oven. Finally find out that the oven thermostat is not working. Good value.
