The Bible Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained

Although this book hasn't changed my status from agnostic to a true believer, it did help me to connect all the dots of everything I have been taught about christianity. A must read for all Christians by denomination, to understand the world it has been built by the Christian west and to get a glimpse on how the dogma works. It's all about new interpretations of the same stories. Fascinating and scary at the same time.

As usual this is another great book from DK. Very informative and well written. Arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend this to everyone. No complaints

What a neat book series! The graphics are cool and the page layout is easy to follow and also interesting to look at. There are a few details in the book that aren't theologically sound, in my opinion, but for the most part the book gives a really nice overview of the different parts and themes of the Bible.

I have read The Bible many times and took two classes in college on this important book. However, even with my knowledge of it I need something to provide me my way to whatever I recall so I can return to its original. This series of books are great for students and for writers to turn to--not only does it give you a great synopsis but also a way towards its exact source.

This book gives a simple explanation of big events which happened in the Bible. If you are not knowledge about the Bible is book is a must read.

This is a very good book. It Is The whole bible explained so anyone can understand it .It also has beautiful pictures to go alone with it .Some things I knew some I did not It is a great book to have on hand.

Este libro es parte de la colección de DK de "Grandes Ideas, Explicaciones Sencillas". He ido haciendo la colección en español, pero este lo tuve que comprar en inglés porque nunca lo tradujeron.

This book ,in my opinion is a supplement to the bible in more than one way..the photographs and paintings are an innovative addition instead of mere illustrations the explanations, background of many characters are helpful to understand them better .the comparartive study ,mind mapping, flowcharting helps comprehension and retention. Not to forget the contextual background that gives an enlightenment to the reader.

Good explanation

Brought a lot of books by DK We are family of Christians. This book is great to use alongside the bible or even alone depending on kids age and preferences. My kids are 10 and 11. Both read their bibles independently but get a lot from this book too
