This was my first time using a tool like this, or removing grout for that matter. The tiles in question are 1" x 1/2" glass subway tiles, which is easier to chip than ceramic tiles and the space between tiles is 1/8". I was able to do some pretty fine chiseling with this tool. The ~90-degree corner was key in not damaging neighboring tiles while removing the maximum amount of grout.

I got this for my husband to use in the remodel of our guest bathroom shower. It is exactly what he was hoping for. He can remodel individual ceramic tiles so much easier and interestingly enough he hasn't damaged the tile he took out. He is waiting for more attachments to come out that for the new starlock plus system because it has quickly become his favorite tool. As his wife, I couldn't be happier because it's helping him stay busy since he retired. He said to recommend this blade for anyone that is removing grout lines or ceramic tile. I have used this blade for several years when removing damaged grout or tiles. It quickly and easily removes grout, making grout or tile repair a snap. If you have a tool that accepts star blades, it is a must for tile repair and grout maintenance.

I used this blade to remove the cracked grout from between the ceramic tiles in my shower. It is absolutely perfect for that job, and I was able to accomplish in 10 minutes what would have taken several hours had I attempted sanding or scraping by hand.

Works great, will definitely be buying more of these.

Grout or hard plaster a breeze and lasts

It is good but short life.I used it for 1 square meter with high performance but after that result of it goes down until become useless in one hour.This mean you need 4 or 5 for one bathroom to remove grout perfectly.

I have bought a number of blades for grout removal but this was the only one thin enough to do the job properly. Unfortunately it blunts very quickly so don’t expect to remove grout from more than half a dozen tiles before it blunts. As blades for it’s also quite expensive for the short life span it has

Good saw blade for fein tool

Ich habe das Segmentsägeblatt für die Entfernung von Fliesenfugen verwendet. Ich habe ca. 17 lfm damit gemacht (einfacher Schnitt und nicht die gesamte Fuge, da die Fliesen entfernt wurden), auf den Bildern kann man erkennen, wie das Blatt jetzt aussieht. An einer Kante ist das Blatt wirklich "unten", an den restlichen Kanten ist noch "Profil" drauf.Es hat bis zum Schluss ordentlich gearbeitet, natürlich nicht mehr ganz so leichtgängig wie zu Beginn. Trotzdem bin ich mit der Standzeit zufrieden und würde es für diesen Zweck auch wieder kaufen.

Spaß beiseite - ich war von der Standzeit echt enttäuscht.Beim renovieren eines Badezimmers aus den 70er Jahren musste ich einige Fließenfugen durchtrennen.Die Fugen! Nicht die Fließen!Nach 1,20 laufenden Metern war 50% der Schneidfläche völlig verschließen.Fugenmaterial ist nun nicht ein sehr harter Werkstoff. Daher war ich von der Standzeit sehr enttäuscht.Ich bin dann doch mit einer Flex und einer entsprechenden Scheibe dem weiteren Vorhaben nachgegangen, das ging wie durch geschmolzene Butter - allerdings mit einer entsprechenden Staubentwicklung, die ich vermeiden wollte.Einen Stern gibt es, weil ich mit diesem Sägeblatt gut in die Ecken kam und ich das Sägeblatt deshalb dennoch benötigte und den zweiten Stern gibt es weil es eben doch "nur" Hartmetall und nicht Diamantbesetzt ist.Dennoch: Klare Enttäuschung an die Standzeit beim bearbeiten dieses weichen Materials der Fliesenfugen. Ohne Flex mit entsprechender Scheibe im Haus hätte ich mein Vorhaben an diesem Tag nicht zu Ende bringen können.
