*Update to review: two of the necklaces broke almost immediately and my daughter’s friends gave them back. She was sad that the quality was so bad. It leaves me scrambling to figure out how to order the correct clasp to fix it. The problem was with the cheap claw clasp. I removed a couple stars for the quality and hassle. I love how this has the option for multiple friends instead of just one. I got the one with five but I wish these had a rhinestone like the traditional two piece one has. I actually had to order a second one because my daughter's friends group is large with 7 girls so they can just mix and match and no one feels left out!She is 8 and has worn it every day since we got them. I wish they came with several separate mini velvet pouches, but instead they came all tangled together.

My daughter's friend brought a BFF necklace to shool for her, and it's the classic 2-piece design. While she loved it, she felt bad because there's a crew of 5 1st grade girls that are very tight, and the necklace was only given to her, leaving 3 girls out. A day or two after she told us about this, I stumbled across this necklace, and thought it was perfect.You can't exactly hold all 5 pieces up and complete the puzzle without taking the necklaces off, but that's not really the point. The idea was to make all of the girls happy, and this did the trick. The necklace and pendants are made well, and appear ready to hold up to little girl recess craziness better than the Dollar-Tree necklaces my daughter often wears.
