LeSaffre Red Star, Yeast Instant, 16 Ounce

I've always had good luck with this instant yeast and this latest bag was no different. While I don't bake a lot, I do on occasion and liked to use instant yeast. Using this created a good quality bun, the dough rises well, it is straight forward to use, and you can make a lot of dough with this amount of yeast. It's my go to recommended yeast. I vacuum seal the bag in between uses to keep it fresh for as long as possible.

Very high quality and excellent price for the volume. If you are a serious baker, you want to get this and stop using the packets from the grocery store. It does make a difference - especially with artisan breads.

This is my second purchase. I use it in my bread machine with excellent results. Dependable, consistent rise.

Every loaf of bread rises properly and tastes very good. It stores well in the freezer and still rises as it should, even after several years.

I bake with yeast at least a couple of times a month. Great and way cheaper to have this on hand in my freezer vs having to buy the little individual packs at the grocery store. In spite of being in my freezer for a long time I've never had it die or not work. I buy more of the same any time I run out.
