B&M Brown Bread with Grapes, 16-Ounce Cans (Pack of 6)

This is a memory of my childhood - SOOO delicious. Warmed or toasted, butter or cream cheese a perfect compliment with tea or just as a snack. The bread is not supposed to be super moist - but the raisins are. It's meant to be a firm, rich and deep molasses flavor. My set of cans came in perfect condition along with some other items I had ordered. Very happy. I shared my 6 cans around and everyone was just really happy. I wish they would still sell them locally - but we live in a very small rural area. I'm good ordering them this way when the hankering hits. I totally would order this again. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Toasted with cream cheese on top, a hardy flavor, cuts very easily into slices from the can. Great for breakfast, snacks. I got the raisin added. It a very great taste. Kind of pricey but sooooo good!

My parents used to buy this when I was growing up and I loved it then. However, I couldn't find it in stores around here - until I found it on Amazon. Tastes just as good now as it did then. Great with hot dogs and beans - the Old New England way!

Whipped cream cheese, some crushed pineapple in it's own juice drained and your favorite sweetener of choice. Spread it on. It's Christmas again. My mom used to get this product when I was a kid and also Dromedary date nut bread roll in a can. Little harder to get out of the can than I remember. That's probably because it was her getting it out of the can and not me. Lol. I used a knife to loosen it around the sides and push through with the other piece of tin on the bottom. Basically you have to break the seal around it. It's very fresh and moist. All the cans were in perfect shape came in a small flat box no wasted packing necessary. I got the six can pack that was offered up because I already knew I liked it so it wasn't like it was a huge Gamble or anything. It was simply the best price per can being offered at the time. I'm glad to see it's still around.

It arrived with two of the cans with deep dents and another can dented but not as bad as the other two cans.
