Z-Slash is still a top racket
I'm a regular club player and over the last year I tested out a number of the newer rackets before settling on the Z-Slash. For me I can feel the extra power that this racket brings, even over the likes of the Voltric which many consider a high power racket. It took me a few weeks to regain the same control I had my with earlier rackets after moving to the Z-Slash but after a little adjustment I now feel that I've got more power than before and the same level of control.I'm using this racket primarily for doubles (mens and mixed) and play in state level tournaments and across the border in masters tournaments in Canada. I can't speak to its relative value in singles as being able to smash through a defense (rather than away from your opponent's reach) is much less critical in singles. But these days I rarely play singles and never competitively. For doubles I can say this is a fine choice.Its distinctive paint job makes it easy to spot from a distance so I've also noticed that this racket is a popular choice among many of the top players in our clubs around town and at the tournaments I attend.

Very good speed. Isometric fits better for me than oval. Very good power in smashes as mentioned. It takes time to get used Although all these depend on person to person. If person's skill is good even $30 racquet is good.

It's a great racket.
You can hit heavy smashes with this racket. Meanwhile you don't lose the feel of the ball. One thing you have to know is that it's smaller, which makes you swing faster. Yes, man, badminton is all about the speed and angles.

I have the Yonex Arcsaber Zslash Taufik Hidayat edition. I love it so far. I use to have an arcsaber 10 and upgrading to the Zslash was weird. My swings were a lot stronger and faster. I strung it with NG95(nanogy95) and it is a beast. My smash are devastating. I don't know if it is the same with a regular Zslash because my racket is stiffer then the normal Zslash but I think it is great. Fist of all, I could not believe there was a Z Slash available to buy from the UK, only 2 places that seems to have it are USA and Australia but neither of them shipped to UK and that too for free if you spend over $299, which I was more than happy to as I managed to find my favourite racquet of all time and that too in such a pristine condition, I had a heart felt teardrop from the site of my new racquets.Anyhow, such a quick delivery!
