Great table! A tad on the narrow side but it works great for a one bedroom apartment! Very sturdy bases on the chairs and table. I love the glossy finish on the table and chairs too! You can see the slide mechanism for inserting the leaf of the table is very well built. Operates very smoothly. They even provide corner table protectors! Mine fell off quickly so I recommend using a different sticky tape to adhere them. Building the table is easy but works way better with two people! They even provide extra hardware if needed. Side note, if you live in a snowy place, the package for the table protects it very well from the elements too. My table was totally fine after being in the snow for some time before I took it inside! Overall, a great table for the price!

Very easy to put together and is sturdy! The chairs that come with aren’t the comfiest but you could add padding or switch out the chairs for different ones if you’d like. Really easy to clean I had glue from a project all over the table and with a normal towel and spray I was able to get it right off with no scratches or issues. Really good size and easy to take care of.

It’s a good low cost table, it was very easy to put together I think it took us about 30-45 minutes. The black is pretty, however this finish catches and holds finger prints and hand prints. All you have to do is barely touch it and you have prints so just know you will be wiping it down fairly often. The benches are really small. They are fine for kids, even bigger kids but not real practical for full size adults. 2 adults can sit on each bench but not very comfortably. My husband and I each weigh 175 lbs and they were just too thin for us so I bought a set of black chairs on Amazon, so for $300 I have a super nice set I’m happy with. The table and benches are very sturdy and seem like they will hold up for a long time. **NOTE** the benches DO fit under the table when it’s not extended. When the leaf is removed only the top slides. Not the entire frame of the table. I like this feature for space saving.

This table is not really meant for 6 adults. It’s long enough but the width is insane. My forarm is longer than this table and I’m a short person. It’s beautiful looking. Seems sturdy and firm. But if you want a full size table like I did then this is not it. You’ll be bumping elbows with your neighbor. You won’t have room for everyone’s plates and food in the middle. And they make you pay for shipping if you want to return the product which is insane. It was going to cost us over $400 to ship everything back. Insane. That’s where my 1 star review comes in. The company was willing to work with us but it took a lot of hoops to go through. And that’s annoying. If someone doesn’t I want your product anymore, then just let them return it and let them get their money back.?? Idk. Anyway. Small table not meant for 6 adults.

I recently purchased this dining set, and while it has an attractive design, I encountered some significant issues. The assembly instructions were clear, but there are a lot of pieces, which can seem overwhelming at first. It took about 4-5 hours to assemble manually without professional tools. The table is practical and a great dining set for small apartments (nyc), but it’s not the most sturdy option. Unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. There were chips and crevices on the top wooden pieces of two chairs in addition to some peeling in the material. The table and chairs lack protective pads on the legs. After moving it for the first time, I noticed several scratches on my wooden floor, which was quite frustrating. To prevent further damage, I had to purchase felt pad inserts separately. On a positive note, the color and design are visually appealing. If you decide to purchase this set, inspect all components thoroughly upon delivery. The seller was responsive when I reported the defects. Overall, while this dining set is good for small spaces, the quality concerns make me hesitant to recommend it without caution.

We live in a 850 sq ft 1950's house with no eat in kitchen or dining room. I looked high and low for folding or leaf tables but realized we wouldn't use the table if we had to constantly set up and tear down. This modular set has been a true surprise in functionality and style. Not only does it fit our space perfectly, but we can make it as compact or spread out as we want by tucking both benches under completely. When I had a movie night we used one of the benches at the couch for an extended coffee table/food spread situation. The table top and frame are high quality for what they are. There haven't been any issues maintaining it and while I try to use coasters with hot and cold beverages I sometimes forget, no marks or unsightly stains so far! In the beginning we thought we'd have to get some 1-2" memory foam or padding custom made upholstery bench cushions to soften, but we have quickly realized that being able to comfortably slide on and off the benches is nice, and we have gotten used to the bench style seating. For guests, sometimes we'll just fold a thin blanket so it looks like a cushion and place that for them if desired. The leaf expands easily and truly increases the top of the table while not impacting the base, so the benches can still slide completely under! I have some folding wooden chairs and other typical dining height chairs that work on the ends perfectly. Larger friends and family have been able to comfortably hang out and dine on this set, so it's a winner!

Table is subpar. Chairs are uncomfortable and the company is difficult to deal with.
