McCormick Crushed Jalapeño Pepper, 1.37 oz

Great taste on meats, salads, noodles, but absolutely awesome on the Chicken Alfredo I forgot to put Jalapenos in! This saved the day. I have not put it on anything that it didn't improve, so far. Not too overwhelming - of course, up to you how much you want to dump on it. Add it to anything and everything and get just a little bit of spice with a lot of flavor.

It deserves 10 stars! Where has this been all my life? I'm a white girl who rarely uses jalapeños so having a Crushed/dried option is heaven! Perfect amount of heat and flavor. I like to rehydrate them in a bit of hot oil for a second or two before adding the other ingredients. Probably don't need to though

I can't get enough of these little containers of jalapeno. So convenient for making salsa, adding to eggs,sprinkling on taco meat. I have 6 in my cabinet. My daughter and son love it also.

Purchased for the first time and absolutely love it! It's a morning must on my boiled eggs! Would be great if it was sold in a larger size.

I enjoy SOME heat on things but don’t like the mouth-feel of crunchy peppers, nor the vinegar-y taste of jarred/pickled jalapeños. Enter this stuff: just dehydrated seeds/chopped peppers, and NO added sodium — the best of both worlds! As I prefer to control the burn — and don’t like crunchy stuff added to foods that are not generally crunchy — I processed this entire bottle in my electric spice grinder until it became an evenly-sized granule (between fine- and course-ground black pepper). I also taped-up all but one hole in the shaker top. Now I can sprinkle this stuff on a variety of things and control the flavor/heat. Happy camper. UPDATE… Just purchased my second jar. I cannot believe how many things I’ve found to sprinkle this in/on: soups; jarred, nacho-type cheese dips; sandwiches; eggs; Mac and cheese; canned tuna; canned/frozen veggies; it really gives a nice flavor to turkey/black bean burgers, too. Can’t wait to explore with other things! (This is surprising to both myself AND my family members who, for years, have witnessed me picking-out jalapeños from things or eating around them, declining popper appetizers, and simply avoiding these things at all costs. I suppose my newfound ability to control the flavor/heat has turned me around. lol)

These are awesome! Tasty while dry or hydrated.

If you like crushed red peppers then you will love crushed jalapeño. Taste just like a jalapeño.
