Book doesn’t contain anything beyond what I’ve learned in previous art courses, and what I’m actively learning in the classes. I was hoping it would expand my knowledge further than what I’m being taught, but I guess my course is too good! Also some of the pages seemed quite dirty. Bought it as it was a recommendation for my college course. Book doesn’t contain anything beyond what I’ve learned in previous art courses, and what I’m actively learning in the classes. Essential Resource for Architectural Students
This book is an updated version of an old classic. It shows the techniques for creating all types of architectural drawings. From the basics of using different line weights to convey depth and importance, to constructing perspectives, to adding entourage for embellishment, the instructions are all shown. For architectural students, this is a must-have book. For other design professionals, it's a great refresher of basic skills. Well worth the money.
