This is such a well-designed unit. I already own one and came back to grab another—but of course, it’s out of stock. I picked up a different one in the meantime, but honestly, it’s just not the same.The design on this one is great. There’s something really satisfying about hitting the button to pop out the needles and flicking them back into place. The other options don’t have that same tactile feel—they’re just kind of boring by comparison.The needle angle is also spot-on. I’m using this with a 58mm portafilter and it works perfectly.Listen—if you’re in the market for something like this and you’re into the way this one looks, just get it. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

I have no idea what the purpose of this device is. But my husband uses it when making his espresso. Its small and fits the espresso piece well. It’s fun to watch when you put the wires back in it retracts like a lightsaber.

I love that it takes up so little space in my setup and I can just stow it away when not in use. The wall attachment is a hella strong magnet, and a good option too if you have a magnetic wall or shelf.

This thing is just fun to use. Push the button, do your WDT thing, flick the tines back in, and store it magnetically on the side of your machine. You could use the included vertical stand, but the magnet way is cooler.It does a great job with a bomber build. It's my favorite coffee gadget.

Very solid product. I get great results using this WDT tool. It is easy to use and I appreciate that the needles are easy to release and hide. Also comes with a magnet for storage.

The idea is great. Retractable needles is something I wish more WDT tools had. But the execution is just not there for this one.First, the needles are too thick. They don't break up clumps so much as push them around.Second, the flick mechanism is cool but also means the needles retract WAY too easily. Sometimes if I'm trying to push the needles down deeper into the bed, the needles will slide up a bit. Other times, they slide up when I'm trying to clean them.The second wouldn't be a problem if there were some way to keep the needles out by force, perhaps by holding down the button on top, because right now that just seems to be a release for the magnets holding the needles inside the pen and can't actually push the needles out.

Love the minimalist design, that it's magnetic so I can store it on the side of my machine, and the fact the needles retract and won't get damaged when not in use.

Works well. Flicks out with a button, flicks back in with gravity. Nice weight and smooth operation. Has a stand.
