We moved into a house with two washer hookups on separate floors and I needed this to close off on the one we will not use. I understand it’s actually made for sealing the space around the hose but it comes with a plug to close off the hole completely and it is perfect. It’s all flexible and fits perfectly! Great quality!

I ended up needing to take the flapper door off because it wouldn't open fast enough and water would still leak around the sides. Once the door is removed it works just fine

I recently bought my first home and its older and needs some TLC. I noticed a horrible smell coming from the laundry room. I realized it was the drain to the washer. I found the product on Amazon and was delivered quickly. As soon as I installed it I didnt smell the sewer anymore. It fit perfectly. If needed it said I could cut to size but I didnt have to do that. It was super easy to install.

Its not designed for wall drain boxes behind the washer. The water pressure from the drain cycle blew the plug and tube off the drain while randomly washing my walls, the ceiling, and the tile floor. It might work for regular standing drains but not those built ins!

So easy to install. Yes it’s that easy. Like in a matter of seconds my washer hose issues were solved. It seals and holds the drain in place. You don’t need sealant. You don’t need anything else. You buy this, make sure the hose fits through and that’s it! For my hose, I only had to cut a little bit and it fit through. This has lasted me for months. I haven’t had any other washer issues (more importantly no more flooding!). The hose stays in place. It’s been staying in place. This gave me so much relief you don’t know. Best Buy I could’ve ever found.

The product does not work with my hose. My hose is designed to go down the discharge drain several inches. I could possibly cut the flapper off and push the hose through it but I'm not sure if it would work. I just need to return it.
