highly recommend
This yoga mat lasted me 3 years of frequent use. Good grip. Never felt like I'd slip. The coating eventually (again, after years of use) started to wear off.

Love it
Pretty great value yoga mat. My last one got destroyed by my cat using it as a scratch pad… so I decided to get a different material mat and so far I’m loving it. I haven’t been able to test the absorption yet but it’s not as slippery as I thought it would be. The color is also cute. Thick enough for any movement. I love that it CD m comes with a strap for easy transport.

Perfect for Hot Yoga
I bought my first mat in Dec 2019 and just replaced it with a second one in July of 2024, so it lasted 5 years and 7 months even when I didn’t realize you are not supposed to clean with Lysol wipes and other harsh cleaners, or else I probably would have lasted even longer! Great durability for price. The strap on my new one is much better, it holds in place. The mat itself is light as well.I use this for hot yoga usually 98F degrees and up and I don’t use a yoga towel. No slippage of hands or feet!I like this mat because it is thick enough for my knees, but not too thick to where your balance is affected.Looks/feels very similar to Lululemon mats.

Better than Manduka Grp Lite hot yoga mat
EDIT November 2022: I really liked this mat at first but had to stop using it, and so I edited my review down to 4 stars. Though I cleaned and dried this mat thoroughly after each use, it is hard to get the smell out. I even scrubbed dish soap into both sides and hosed it down outside twice but it still smelled. I finally washed it in the machine a couple times and it made the surface bubble. Didn’t last very long. I recently switched to a cork mat and love it.I bought this mat after returning my Manduka GRP lite hot yoga mat and this one is much better, and much cheaper than the $115 option. It grips well while not being too sticky on my thighs when I roll through chaturanga/up dog. It is much lighter and thinner than the Manduka grp and other similar mats.I’ve been doing hot yoga for years and previously used a Manduka mat that had a suede-like top layer. I wanted to get a new one that I would not have to dry out daily and wash in the machine weekly. This one is very light and wicks away sweat (I am sweaty and this was still grippy). The only time I need to use my hand towel during class is when I’m doing a super hot (~110 degree) vinyasa flow class and I have to swipe away sweat from the hand area a couple times. For most classes that are ~90 degrees I do not have any issue with too much sweat.Glad I found this option for under $100 and am happy with it!

Light as a feather and sticky to boot! Updated!
I have been debating about what mat to get for months!!! I hate to shell out a bunch of coin and then not know if I’m going to love the mat.I’m a new yogi. I’ve been practicing a little over a year. I do yoga at a studio and at a gym. Hot and unheated. For unheated yoga this mat is fantastic!!! It grips so well. It’s long and wide and just gorgeous.I haven’t tried it for heated, but I spilled a little water on it and it was kind of slippery. I would use a towel for hot yoga anyway since I sweat so much. Seriously cooking butt soup in my leggings at every hot practice. I know you’re jealous. But that’s neither here nor there! Let’s get back to the mat...I got the blue marble and it’s lovely. I often have make up remnants on when I practice and it leaves a smudge during child’s and some other poses. Wipes right off!!! Don’t even have to use spray, just a towel and it cleans right off.Does smell a little rubbery, but it’s not strong and it gets better with each use. I’ve been using about 5 times a week for 3 weeks. This mat is so light!!! My old mat weighed a ton. This thing weighs way less than a bag of sugar! The strap is a nice addition but I don’t love it. I’ll get something else eventually.Don’t wait. You are going to be so happy you bought this mat—at half the price of some of those other brands!8/13/20My original post was obviously gushing over this mat. Years later and you bet, I still love it! I just purchased another. This time in the navy blue. The lighter blue marble did eventually show marks from my hands and feet that wouldn’t wash off. Strictly cosmetic. I have used the mat for hot yoga—and without a towel—and it’s fantastic! But I do have to remember to spread it out so it can dry after as it does hold the sweat. I still stand behind my review. Order this mat. Life is so yucky right now. You can at least count on this being a great mat and you’ll be that much closer to a deep breath and a little sanity. Namaste.

4 years later…
Still the best yoga mat. TRULY nonslip, which I have not found for any other mat. Comfortable, not cumbersome, rolls well, no rips or tears. After 4 years of use the most it has are some scuffs on the surface. Will definitely buy again when the time comes.
