RitFit Leg Press Hack Squat Machine with Linear Bearing, 1200LB Capacity

I've bought and built alot of products from online purchases. The assembly instructions, parts, and tools provided for install are ELITE. I'll buy RitFit whenever possible for this alone. Leg Press is excellent, the foot plate is a little small and restrictive (Can't do calf press) but that is part of buying a multi function machine at an affordable price. Hack Squat is easy to setup and utilize, like the different lifts available with it.

So easy to put together. Took me around 2.5 hours on my own. Very smooth working, glides easy. Pretty heavy duty, I loaded 3 ,45 lbs plates on each side and no issues with the weight. All in all a great quality machine. Definately worth the money at $899. Everything came packaged nicely with no scratches. The bolts, screws and pieces were all labeled step by step with no guess work. Great machine.

It’s a little on the spiller side as far as the leg press foot placement. Other than that it was easy to figure out assembly and the product is smooth and handles what I throw at it.

As a hack squat machine this is fantastic. Assembly was pretty simple and there are plenty of YouTube videos that explain things. We had an issue with a part that arrived damaged but customer service was quick and friendly. The only problem I run into is the height limit. I’m slightly over 6’4” and occasionally hit the top bumper if I come up quickly. Regarding the combo function in using it as a leg press: again, it works really well. My only issue is that there is only one rack for plates. You will not be able to go over 600 pounds without some sketchy stacking. If it had another rack to expand the weight limit I would have given 5 stars. Overall you really can’t beat this for the price, definitely recommend.

Excellent home gym addition – smooth, sturdy, and reliable! I’ve had the RitFit Leg Press for about a year now, and I use it weekly as part of my home gym routine. It’s held up incredibly well—super smooth operation, great weight distribution, and absolutely no stability issues. The padding has also stayed in perfect condition, which is impressive considering how often I sweat during workouts. No flaking, cracking, or peeling. Yes, it’s a bit more narrow than the commercial leg presses you’d find at a gym, but that hasn’t affected its performance at all. It’s compact enough for home use while still giving you the same intense leg workout you'd expect from a larger machine. Assembly was straightforward, and everything fit together solidly. For anyone building out a home gym, this is a great investment. I’ve had zero complaints—highly recommended!

Packaging and instructions were very good. Easy to put together, did it by myself. An extra set of hands would make it easier but is in no way necessary. Some steps are easier if the previous step hasn't been fully tightened yet. If you have any sort of mechanical inclination and ability this will be a breeze. Comes with tools, even a double ended ratchet wrench. Don't recommend impact wrench as it will start squeezing the tubing, hand tools only based on my experience. When installing the guide rails that the slide moves on, do the lower bolts first so you're able to fit the short end of Allen key into bolt head. Otherwise the handle on the frame will be in the way. I found this out and ended up using my cut-off wheel to make a shortend Allen wrench because even an Allen socket bit wouldn't fit and I didn't feel like taking the top back apart. If you have uneven concrete flooring I recommend using cardboard or those gym/stall mats under the machine, since it is so rigid or it will wobble and rattle on the uneven floor. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of the machine and will update later with any issues, etc.

This piece of equipment is heavy, sturdy, and feels smooth (though loud) during use. Time will tell how the hardware holds up. My main warning to potential buyers is about the bad packaging and shipping: Box 1 of 2 arrived about 4 or 5 days before box 2 of 2. I opened it to inspect and found part after part damaged, scratched and even bent. When box two arrived, even more parts were damaged and scratched. The “screw pack” had broken open and there were washers and bolts everywhere. So the system of following the labeled sections during assembly was now useless. I had to examine each piece individually during each step of assembly to ensure it was the correct screw/bolt/washer etc. It was fine in the end and I was able to put everything together in about 3 hours. One washer and one peg were missing. The seller was not helpful in sending a replacement, so I found my own parts. It worked out fine. I ultimately decided to assemble everything despite all of the scratches and damage. Nothing structural seemed compromised. I was simply too impatient to wait around for replacement parts. I share this because I know some will feel otherwise, and should know that a common complaint with this product is that parts arrive scratched and damaged.
