These kits are fabulous -- they are excellent and inexpensive and great for kids age 2 and up (and certainly for adults as well). 1. The exterior is very sturdy, and even holds up to my younger daughter dragging it along the sidewalk. Easy to keep clean -- appears to be water-repellent. 2. It's easy to carry. Small enough to fit in a small backpack, but also has a carry-handle that you can keep tucked in, when the case is zipped, or hang out as a handle. 3. The elastic holding the colored pencils in place is very strong. Each of the six elastic sections holds 2 pencils very snugly, but not so snug to make removing pencils difficult at all. Very quickly, though, there are colored pencil marks inside the case from the pencils being removed/replaced, but really it's not a big deal - all on the inside. 4. We haven't yet used the pencil sharpener, but the eraser does indeed erase these pencil marks very well. 5. The pad of paper also fits snugly. Using both sides of the paper, though, doesn't work that well as the sheet lays across the upper ridge of the case, but we plan to turn the entire pad over after the front sides are used. I haven't yet sought out replacement paper, but I don't anticipate any problems. 6. The case has enough extra space to put in some of your own extra supplies -- pieces of scrap paper, sheets of stickers, etc. 7. The price is outstanding! I am pretty sure we paid around $15 for each kit, and now I see it's on sale here for $8.95! What a steal. The components are very high quality, and I still feel like for $15 I got a very good value. Great gift for any age or gender. If you have NO idea what to get someone, this Keep N Carry set is a safe and creative choice.

This is a great size for the car. It is small enough that it doesn't slide off my daughter's lap (she's 6), which is the problem I was trying to solve. Anything bigger and pencils/crayons were falling everywhere, and if those weren't, then her coloring book was. It was so frustrating for both of us. This contains her stuff, with elastic to keep the pencils in. It fits one of those small sized coloring books you can get at the dollar tree, plus has a sharpener and eraser. She is good to go on trips now! The only negative is that I wish there were other color options for the case. It is boring for a little girl plus it blends into the car floor easily and we have to search for it occasionally.

This was purchased to fill out an order to get the cheaper shipping. That said, I now say I am in no way sorry. It's been great getting into colored pencils again. I usually paint (watercolor, oil, and acrylic) but the last time I used colored pencils, decades ago, I was unimpressed. Things have changed, you can get a lot of color from these. I have been teaching a friend who has some developmental challenges to express herself through art, and these have been a delight. Because they are a dry medium, nothing spills! The case and it's contents are complete, too, there is a good eraser, a sharpener, drawing pad, and 12 colors. In fact, it would make a nice gift, or a kit to keep in the car for those moments when you just have to catch that view. My only suggestion is to label each pencil with it's color. If you are not in the best of light it can be difficult to distinguish black, brown and navy from each other. You can get some "interesting" results by picking up the wrong one, but not necessarily what you wanted. I used cellophane tape and little printed labels.

This is a high quality set for the price. I bought it for a friend who was going through chemo treatments to entertain her while sitting all day. It was perfect for that. The grandkids wanted to use it too!

I have put these in my OCC shoeboxes for past two years. They fit in bottom of the plastic shoebox (smaller than the cardboard ones). I move pencil crayons over so I can fit a pen and regular pencils in the case. Plus I add scissors. I am hoping this provides a safe durable case for a child to keep all their supplies. I unwrap the eraser and pad of paper, before hand so the child doesn't have to dispose of the trash.

These pencils are good for coloring a picture. to make greeting cards & scrapbooking. The blending method works lovely for these pencils. I was surprised how well it worked. The lead is a little harder than some of my pencils.. Inside the case is elastic to hold the pencil.in place. It also contains a pencil sharpener & eraser. This set is a very good set. I don't know anything about the brand name. I like the performance of this set. I am very happy to have them. .

Bought this gift for my good friends tween daughter before they moved. She loves to draw and I was trying to find some that would be travel friendly and this was the perfect gift. The best part is the zipper pouch so things don’t fall out. Great value for the price.
