So as to fit standard UK internal doors the shank will need to be cut down by approx 2 cm. The screw heads are made of very soft metal. When fixing to internal fire doors (which are obviously made of more dense material) the screw heads a) strip and are unusable. b) sheer off c) fail to penetrate the door flush to the plate. I strongly suggest using an alternate set of black wood screws and pre drill the holes in the door, especially if it was a fire door. The handle itself is good value at this price point. Accepting the difficulties with the screws, I would order more sets.

Good product, a little smaller than the handle I had to replace so had to do a bit of sanding and painting but that does not detract from the quality of the handleThe screws are very poor quality so bought replacements

The handle & backplate appear to be a good product, most satisfied.But the screws supplied are a huge letdown, even with pilot holes drilled to screw shank diameter they just chew up the thread, the slot mangles, so be prepared, need min of 8.Would have been rated 5 but for the screws.

Great handles and a very good company to deal with.
