I've been wanting a toaster oven for simple stuff, like warming up frozen rolls, broiling an open faced sandwich, etc. Nothing fancy. Not looking to roast a chicken, bake a cake, etc. Just something for when a microwave won't do (you need crispy) and you don't want to heat up the whole kitchen by firing up a big oven (especially during the summer in Florida). This little appliance does the trick. Heats up instantly, no pre-heating. Melts the cheese on an open faced sandwich in just a couple of minutes. Has a crumb tray for easy clean up. The controls are super basic. I mostly use the toaster timer, which makes a hilariously retro ticking sound (apparently it uses an old-fashioned mechanical timer), and just watch through the glass window to see when things are done, since cook time is usually just a couple of minutes for what I'm doing. No digital displays or controls. Really basic. Which also means really inexpensive. Controls weren't immediately intuitive, but by "immediate" I mean that it took me all of a minute or two to figure out how to make the toaster oven do what I wanted. Simple. I already have a full-size oven for serious baking, so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars and take up a lot of counter space for a fancy appliance. This simple, small, inexpensive toaster oven is just what I needed -- basically a horizontal, enclosed toaster, just like I remember from the good 'ol days.

I replaced an ancient version of this B&D toaster oven (circa 2010) that I used in my engineering office before retiring. This new model, esp with the air fryer feature, is perfect for my garage workshop. Though it would serve well on my kitchen counter. It is small, but the inside space accommodates larger dishes than my previous oven, thanks to a somewhat rounded back. Be advised that the air fryer works quickly, so take out your French fries or chicken nuggets before they are incinerated. Also when you are turning off, note that the lower timer knob "off" position is designated by a circle. If you turn the knob past the "off" position (completely counterclockwise) it is in "stay on" position. Overall very pleased with B&D quality and appearance.

It is a basic machine and it does well. I do have one problem and am writing this review in case someone else buys one. The function dial does not marry up to the correct function. So, if you put it on air fryer, you will be broiling. Found out the hard way. I go to the last function and then count down to the one I need. Other than that it is fine. Also, as I understand it the air fryer function is set at 450 degrees and if you have a recipe that requires a lower temperature, I haven't figured out how to lower it.

Well made! I just registered my toaster oven, not sure how long that's for but... I'm very happy with my purchased. bbl w/product use review. :)2 days later... oh how nice. I heated up some frozen onion rings, experimental, and I needed to leave them in a bit longer but overall NICE. I'll be experimenting more but I have to say overall YES. The heating bars, whatever that's called are thicker than the usual toaster over and I really like that. Hope ya get one, I think it's worth it. :)

Almost didn't get this due to complaints about hiw hot it gets. But I needed to replace my 40+ yo unit. I like the versatility of a toaster oven but with limited space was finding just about every other unit being waaay too large. So got what on AMZN was apparently the only unit that would fit. In fact this unit is deeper than specified so i had to do a bit of gerryrigging. Long story short, yeah casing gets hot but leave door open after use and it cools off rapidly. Glad I got this unit. (Full disclosure, haves used toast and bake settings but it tried the air frying mode -not something I needed anyway.)

I read about the set temp of the Air-Fry setting but I didn't think it would be a huge deal. Well. It's a pretty big deal. 400° is very hot for air frying. It burns things quickly. For some items, like chicken, you can't just cook it for a lesser time at a higher temp... it will be raw inside.I also read the dimensions of the unit before purchasing but I was still unprepared for how very large it is. I probably should've gotten the 4-slice version, but this 6-slice oven DOES fit a full-size frozen pizza, so I'm not upset. This oven was ridiculously inexpensive, on sale I spent less than $40. It is definitely worth that price, maybe even a bit more.Most of the parts are easy to clean except the air fry basket. I do not have an automatic dishwasher and the basket is impossible to clean effectively without great effort.Overall, I am not unhappy with this purchase but neither am I overwhelmed by its features. Very average.I do not recommend it if you are in the market for an air fryer. This is not that.

Nothing too fancy but all we needed was a basic toaster oven. We love it!! With just me and my husband in the house we will meal prep for the week and then throw the items in the toaster oven as opposed to the microwave. Makes the biggest difference!! Left over pasta now tastes like it’s fresh when warmed up in the toaster oven.

It performs well considering its price. It has basket for air fryer so it’s a must because I don’t want to have another air fryer machine on the counter! I like it when it’s not digital and connect to wifi. The knocks are a bit hard for me to turn but it’s just me probably. I don’t have a good strong grips with my hands ! Overall I’m happy with my purchase!

I like this appliance because it is smaller than the previous one but still all that I need. It toasts both top and bottom of scones and bread, but takes some getting used to to adjust the length of the toast.

Love this toaster oven. Has all the features I was looking for including Air fry. I have used this to bake, warm up items, air fry and toast. It’s easy to clean. I air fried some barbecue wings and they splattered everywhere, so once the oven cooled I took it apart and everything cleaned up nicely. The instructions were clear as I had a smaller toaster oven before this, so it was pretty easy to figure out. My husband and I use this toaster oven to cook a lot of our meals instead of our full size oven. It’s large, takes up a lot of counter space, but it’s well worth it.
